Sarah Palin is urging Republican presidential candidates to take part in the Newsmax ION Television 2012 Presidential Debate moderated by Donald Trump.
The former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate made her endorsement in an interview to air Wednesday night on the Fox Business Network. Palins endorsement is the latest high-profile conservative to support the debate set for Dec. 27.
"I think candidates should not be afraid in front of the nation no matter who the host of the debate is, Palin said. What is a bit appealing about this idea of Trump hosting a debate is, consider the diverse audience that perhaps he can attract. It's important that independents and those who are not obsessed with inside-baseball partisan politics, which is most of us, we'd like to hear more of the message of each one of these candidates and perhaps Donald Trump will be able to attract a diverse demographic that maybe has not been as interested in this horse race thus far.
"America needs to wake up to what is going on under Obama's socialist policies and how he will bankrupt the country. I'm looking at the debate as a positive thing because of that fact."(continued)

I totally agree.
Why did she endorse this debate after a couple of people had already declined? It shakes my faith in Sarah.
I would avoid this Jerry Springer moment at all costs!
I guess the ones who are the most upset are the ones who want to keep the primary boring.
Trump sure has pale eyelids. Either he puts sunblock on them without getting any of it in his eyes or he wears goggles while he’s in the tanning bed. He hides his bald spots better than our current VP does, though. As for his politics, he might be able to pose as a conservative more effectively than many if not most GOP incumbents, but that doesn’t qualify him for anything. It just illustrates how deep the rut is that the GOP is stuck in. The GOP’s problem is that it is trying to endear itself to people who think the Donald Trumps of the world are serious candidates instead of engaged voters who are desperately searching for a credible reform candidate and not just another Obama. Donald Trump is a guy who makes (and loses) lots of money through various forms of self-promotion and gimmickry. That’s it. The MSM wants conservatives to be abandoned by the GOP for 24/7 reality TV, and this is playing into their hands.
Whatever one might think of Trump, his concern is getting a pro-American president, and restoring the American economy. Romney, Huntsman, and Perry DO NOT want this exposure.
