I’d say he should do 14 years at hard labor, breaking rocks with his face, but the damage has already been done...
I don’t like the guy. I think he deserved what he got. I am not convinced there is benefit to keeping him locked up more than eight years.
Every second of that eight years will be miserable for him. It will seem like 50. He will never hold power again. His family may not even be there when he gets out.
We despise people like him, but wishing him more than this probably borders on being self-destructive to ourselves. We should not let this consume us.
