Tokyo Rove came out this morning and said he hated this idea.
I guess I will really tune in now.

How could a Trump m moderated debate possibly be any worse then what we have seen by the ultra biased LSM?

Gee, I don't remember reading anything from the Inside-the-Beltway, pseudo-intellectual, Elitist, RINO'S (bordering on flat out LIBS) at the NR, exhibiting any such "Concern" over the Moderators for the last (what is it?) 12 debates in which all but one were FLAMING, FAR LEFT LOONS?
Get a life already. "The Donald" will probably ask question we "Cons" are interested in knowing the Candidates' views on, thus no wonder y'all are in high dudgeon.
F'N HYPOCRITES!

Did anyone see Trump on with Chuck Todd this morning. Absolutely outstanding. I cracked up on the floor. He went after Rove big time and MSNBC. lolololol

I think EVERYONE should participate and EVERYONE should watch it. The only ones who think otherwise are supports of the administration.
Donald is likely to ask REAL questions and point out bs when it is proffered.

Donald Trumps Sideshow Debate (Self-respecting Republicans should avoid it) Because having the Obama lovers at CNN run the debate is so much better. /s

I’m betting the Trump debate gets the highest ratings of any debate.

Globalist Rino snobs.
Fire the whole lot of them.
I’d vote for Trump. Heck yes. And I’ll be watching his debate.
Rove is scum. Cost the GOP the Senate, and assisted pushing Palin out of the race, imo.
Dirtbag Rinos.

The White House releases this to the State-Run-Media, and is not happy when the Debate is beyond State-Run control. Typical smear/attack promotional publications and State-Run-Media comments will be used just as has been done with any Conservative opposition that is gaining traction with non-indoctrinated Americans.
This is how "we control the horizontal.....we control the vertical....."

Ron Paul is absolutely right.
However, Trump would make a very good questioner/moderator/interviewer of obama.

What makes any of the so called MSM news readers more qualified than Trump to proctor a debate? They are all self promoters but at least Trump is willing to ask some really hard questions and is as relentless as bulldog hanging onto a bone.He has real world experience in business - they have none.

Trump is bombastic, egotistical, self-promoting and without any fear (he has everything to gain and nothing to lose). He isn’t afraid to say un-PC things and call a rose a rose.
He may not make sense as a candidate, but really, what’s not to like?

People who spend their lives sucking at the teat of the MSM have lots to fear from people who don’t like the beltway rules.
It’s about time that America started putting the news ahead of the newscasters. Parasites like Rove and Obama know if they loose their elitist grip they will find the American people hard to govern.

The little weenies at National Review don’t like The Donald because he favors tariffs. The myth of free trade, biggest scam going. The Nips, Koreans and Chinese laugh at those nations stupid enough to buy into it

I understand the underlying viewpoint: Trump could easily use this debate to show what an awful field of candidates is left, and use it as a stage to reignite his own run for the White House, and the National Review is thinking that this would be a horrendously bad idea.
But they couldn't say such a thing, as that’d be a reasoned viewpoint. Instead, they resort to playground name calling. And unintentionally, they draw even more of a crowd to the Trump debate, as a playground scuffle draws a crowd of onlookers.
We have an awful field. The ‘leader’ of the moment voted to help create the Department of Education. Second place proudly trumpeted socialized medicine and enshrined gay marriage into the first state. Newt might, possibly, work out, but his history shows that the people will have to constantly hold his feet to the fire to keep him from straying into Ted Kennedy territory.
So there is a serious concern in supporting a debate that might ignite a third party run for the White House.
Next time, the National Review might want to say that. I know I'm going to watch the debate.
