BREAKING: Sources tell FOX 5 News that Herman Cain will endorse Newt Gingrich Monday for the GOP Presidential Nominee
I don’t know I am really starting to like Newt. He is far far better than Obama, but gee whiz Bill Clinton better than Obama.
I just solved his confusion about whether he belongs on Free Republic.

All media are uniformily saying that the president fears Romney...you know that is a lie.
That's true...He's a big business globalist like most of the Republicans in Congress...He'll have what's remaining of our industry in China before his first hundred days are up...
And whatever industry can't leave the country will be filled with illegal alien employees...
There a reason Gingrich was never asked to speak at a Tea Party Rally...
Never bought into that line of crap anyway. The bigger question is who will Newt ask to be VP?
You’re right about Romney...
LOL! Keep hoping against hope, pal.
Double zot on this thread. See reply by moderator to onyx

Good for Cain. I’m voting for Perry.
What are you going to do when Palin endorses Gingrich?
Sign up date was 2000? I checked past posting history, I guess what he said was deleted, I don’t see anything?????? What happened?
LOL! So true. That would make a great tagline.
I found the offending zotworthy comment. I had to search the thread to see what he said that was deleted. The rest of his posting history..... I’ve seen far worse. :)..... but another 10 year-er bites the dust.
Whatever you think about Newt, Romney, or anyone else is irrelevant. Sarah Palin is not running for President. She will not be the nominee. Period.
You're rooting for Myth, you're just to dim to realize it.
LOL. I'm dim? This coming from the guy who still has this nonsense in his profile:
If Sarah wasn't going to run, she would have said so a long time ago.
Seriously, your political prognostication skills are downright awful. After you embarrassed yourself with all those posts guaranteeing Palin would run, you should consider not making any more political predictions for many years to come. You are just bad at it.
Earlier I liked a Cain/Newt ticket, but as time went on, some of the shine on Newt went away for me.
I wasn’t happy about Cain endorsing Newt, BUT, I just got to thinking. If Newt picks Cain for VP, this could help set Cain up for a run in 2016.
After 4 years of seeing Cain people wouldn’t be so afraid of him, he would gain valuable experience and it would pretty much void out all these BS scandals. Sure they could try it again in 2016, but, I doubt it would get much traction after he’s had 4 years to prove himself.
I’m not reconciled to Newt. I haven’t decided who I’m going with but leaning toward Santorum. I just think Newt should choose Cain for VP if he’s the nominee.
I think the only way I would go Newt was if the race ended up super tight between Gingrich and Romney. I can’t stomach Romney so in that case I might have to go Newt.
“Wake up... there is no such thing. Because conservatives set really high standards.”
I’m not sure if you were saying that tongue-in-cheek or if you were being serious. Interestingly, my wife and I were just talking yesterday about the issue: “where are all the truly good, conservative political leaders?” We concluded that there aren’t very many of them because politicians, (generally - although more particularly at the federal level) by their very nature, are twisted people. They seek power. Once they seek office, whether aware of it or not, they are on a path toward corruption. Most of the TRUE conservative folks in our country aren’t interested in that. They’re busy running businesses, raising kids, working for their Church or other organization, being involved in their grandchildren’s lives, or are so repulsed by the idea of holding an elected position that it just isn’t within the realm of posibilities for them. Again, there are certainly exceptions to this, but, in general, TRUE conservatism and political aspirations seem to be mutually exclusive.
Just the perspective from our household...
Interesting. Wonder what’s in it for Cain as Newt would seem to be the opposite of the things Cain stood for.
I attribute Newt’s surge to a pop craze.
Newt is better than Obama and more likely to win than Huntsman, Bachmann or Santorum.
Other than that, all I can say is better than Obama.
I hope as Newt’s history becomes more widely known and people realize he’s not all that, they will take a look at the best candidate out there, Rick Perry.
