Do you feel the same about Reagan who was also a Dem at one point in his life?

Where Perry lived in West Texas...there were no Republicans.

He saw the light in the 80s and changed to Republican because he realized was a conservative & the Dems had become too liberal progressive big government!

I’ve given up trying to understand the vehemence of the anti-Perry crowd. Don’t like him, fine. But they go at him with torches and pitchforks.

We still have some conservative democrats in our state offices. I think it is getting harder and harder for both parties to work together, as the dems are getting more liberal here in Texas. Perry has worked well with both parties, bringing them together many times.
