I have a hard time coming to see Perry as my top choice, but with Cain gone, I am “re-assessing”. My libertarian streak sure likes seeing him wave the Constitution and say “no more, no less”!

This is not the first time I’ve seen the Governor pull a pocket copy of the Constitution out to show his audience. He evidently really carries one around.

At least Noot recognizes the evil danger of agenda 21. Gingrich seems to be the only one who even knows what Agenda 21 is...and it is probably one of the greatest threats ever to the US.

“In hock” typically means a delinquent debt, or at least a long-standing debt. So there’s no evidence that Gingrich was “in hoc” to Tiffany’s.

Perry was a happy-ass democrat - the party of big federal government involvement in education and everything else. Texas democrats were a different breed. They were more conservative than many in other states.

So OK; Newt’s money was honest. . .and they paid him to tell them that it was a dangerous boondoggle and would collapse; and he left. They preferred the ‘kudos’ of their Demorcrats who advised to contrary. . .and of course, there was Chris and Barney. . .

I don’t see Obama debating anybody. He knows he can’t debate. So why would he?

Perry being a democrat has been answer several hundred times. In Texas, most people were democrats up until abt 1960’s. They were Reagan Democrats. That was what his family was and therefore what he was. He has always been conservative.

Newt is slick, and not in a good way. I can’t believe Freepers have forgotten the grief Newt has inflicted on us over the years.
I’m supporting Perry.

Don’t think that would be a scandal, but it has been joked about a lot. If you pay your debts there’s no scandal.

The big problem with repeal is that we need a 2/3 majority in both the House and the Senate just to debate any changes. We can do it, if the voters are determined enough.
