When you run inept campaigns you get ignored as well you should.

Everyone laughed at Newt for running an inept campaign. And yet, he's now the frontrunnner.

Everyone lauded Robomney for running a slick, professional campaign and he can barely get above 20% in the polls despite running for five years and spending 10s of millions of dollars.

Methinks you should revisit your "logic".

Newt hasn’t had a problem responding so I didn’t laugh when his earlier campaign staff bailed. He was never ignored even back months ago. If a candidate can’t get traction then someone within his campaign has to take charge, garner donations, and guide the campaign to a place that works. If that fails then the campaign is inept. It’s a simple term that describes all the campaigns that are not getting anywhere, whether a 20% Romney or a 5% Santorum.
