We have never had such a brazen and potential tyrant in the Oval Office before Barak Obama. The idea of giving him power to incarcerate American citizens on American soil without charges, without counsel, without resort to habeas corpus, and without limitation, is simply terrifying.

Frightening is a word which would describe creating such a power to the likes of Hillary Clinton. By extension, one should be very very concerned about empowering any Democrat to evade the Bill of Rights.

Why would anyone trash the Constitution and make a tyrant of a man who was intimate with Bill Ayres? Why would anyone permit himself to be cast into a dungeon by a disciple of Saul Alinsky? Why would the Congress of the United States make it possible for a man who was mentored by a self-proclaimed communist, Frank Marshall Davis, to consign Americans to a star chamber? Why would America permit a commander in chief who has surrounded himself with an acknowledged communist, countless radicals, and admirers of Mao to become a judge, jury, and jailer of our citizens?

Has Congress lost its mind?

Yes, it is truly terrifying.

I can think of only one reason for them to be pursuing this now: they are anticipating massive civil unrest in the not-too-distant future.

Congress is populated by traitors to America and
our Constitution.

They encourage the treason and the destruction of
America ... and they are so hated for it.

Has Congress lost its mind?

Remember at one point we did round up the Japanese.

And I must admit the more they shove us in this direction, the less I feel they are OUR government.

While I love the United States of America, this government does not represent We the People. And if it has failed in this very basic of sworn duties are we obligated to suffer its abuses?

Has Congress lost it’s mind you ask? years ago. However, this is exactly what happened in Germany in the 1930’s. A seemingly benign leader took power, was able to talk his way into supreme power and not a shot was fired... until he showed his true colors.

We’re looking at a very bad civil war folks. It’s coming. Congress has shown that it is party to what Obama wants and the citizens are screwed.

The only saving grace we have is that we are well armed. The cost for Obama shredding the Constitution will be very high on his side, ours too. I’ve pretty much given up on our nation being set on the right course without violence. The left want a war and they want it bad.

They’re going to get it. Someone is going to snap and it’s going to be on. Sadly, Bush really does have some fault in this. The abomination of the Patriot Act never, ever should have seen the light of day. The fact that it did speaks volumes about those who are supposed to represent us.

Here's where you go a little bit astray.

I wouldn't give this power to Reagan, Coolidge, or Washington either.

... Has Congress lost its mind?

The majority of congress has been bought and paid for. We now have the best government global corporations and finance can buy.

IMHO free enterprise and capitalism have been replaced by crony capitalism / corporatism / fascism.

The enemy within has been very successful in creating a story for the ‘left’ about economic, social, educational, and environmental ‘justice’, sustainability, concensus and a story for the ‘right’ about ‘free trade’, 'comparative advantage', free movement of goods and natural persons, and 'profits uber alles' with no reference to patriotism or morality. Both stories lead to the same place - destruction of the American economy, security, traditional culture, values and its pesky middle class under the tyranny of global communism.

I will say this: if these provisions are actually signed into law, I will support Ron Paul in the primary. I personally deem him to be the Republican least likely to use these provisions as President.
