The woman whose accusations may have prompted Herman Cain to reassess his campaign for president is a 46-year-old single mother of two grown children. Ginger White, who has worked as a fitness instructor, alleges that she carried on a 13-year affair with Cain.
In two television interviews with Atlanta stations, she appeared soft-spoken and said she came forward only to defend her reputation after she feared the story would leak out. Cain has emphatically denied the affair, calling White a “destitute” friend whom he tried to help. “I couldn’t imagine anyone coming out and lying about this. Who would want this? It’s really not been fun,” White told Atlanta television station WSB outside her apartment Monday.
White has been frequently unemployed, according to news reports, and public records reveal financial difficulties that resulted in several eviction notices.

Ok please tell me how you can possibly “defend your reputation” against a charge of having a 13 year affair, by going on tv to say you had a 13 year affair????
Plus I read her quoted saying she did it because she didn’t like how Cain’s other accusers were supposedly “villified”.
Maybe these really are the reasons and we just live in a nation of insane persons.

All these women have strikingly similar backgrounds. Shady behavior, questionable pasts, financial problems, documented legal troubles. Seems like very odd people for Mr. Cain to associate himself with on such personal levels, if their stories are true. Which I highly doubt.

If Herman was indeed carrying on a 13 year affair with her wouldn’t he have found a way to pay her rent? You can’t be with someone for 13 years and not care about them at all. Look at Rielle Hunter. She got rent and jobs and money during her affair through a third party. Why wasn’t this woman taken care of AT ALL???? This is a sham.

You make a great a point. If this woman’s story of the 13 year affair was true, you would think she would have mentioned or at least made a reference to Cain’s time spent battling cancer.
I do not believe that a woman who had a 13 year affair with a very wealthy man would be continuously broke and under threat of eviction. I do believe that a broke woman could easily be hired to claim such an affair.
Palin, Whitman, Miller, O’Donnell, Angle, Cain... who else am I missing?

That's what I'm thinking. She looks like a middle-aged female version of the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
Gennifer Flowers, now Ginger White. Bill survived, Herman gets slaughtered. Yup, there’s no difference between Democrats and Republicans..... ABC News asked Steffy about Cain, and basically he said Cain was cooked. No one thought to ask how Clinton got passed the Gennider Flowers affair, and why it is “impossible” for Herman to recover.
