The female bodybuilder who once ran a bicycle business with latest Herman Cain accuser Ginger White says the Atlanta woman never mentioned the Republican presidential candidate, who she says was her lover for 13 years.
"His name has never come up," said Kimberly Vay, who told ABC News that she and White were former business partners.
But Vay, who filed and won a libel lawsuit against White, refused to comment directly when asked whether she considers White's accusations about Cain credible. "When you see the details of my lawsuit," said Vay, "they will speak for themselves." She then referred ABC News to her attorney.

It does seem odd that a woman who Cain says he's given money to would lie about this because making the allegation cuts off any more of it.Or, more likely, she made the allegations because he had already cut her off.

It’s not a question of what I want - it’s what is accurate.

Now wait a minute here! You had people’s phone numbers and didn’t have sex with them?? Who are you trying to kid? /s
The disgusting part is teh media wouldn’t even cover John Edwards, etc., but they put every one of these women on and then basically say “Well this person had a pulse, so they seem credible”.
I don’t know the truth but it’s disgusting watching people draw conclusions and acting like it’s impossible for someone to lie.
People lie all the time and those of us who have lived more than 15 years can give far too many examples to ever list.

She had his private number. He answered when the Fox5 news reporter called.
Just curious, any mention of her being an employee of any entity that Cain might have been involved with?

That’s a big problem.
Every one of the candidates should be releasing, and I know Gingrich did, a statement basically saying that they are not interested in anybody’s personal life and that it’s for the media to focus substantial matters like the economy.

Or, more likely, she made the allegations because he had already cut her off. If that's what happened, I guess you would say he chose "poorly."

Cain has shown no attraction to unstable women. I don’t believe for a second he had anything to do with that Bialeck ninny with Gloria Alred.
The other two won’t come forward, one at least appears to be a hypersensitive Obama employee who claimed sex harrassment everywhere she worked.
This last one seems wierd, and they ALL lie about why they are coming forward. For example this one. Allegedly banged Cain for 13 years while befriending his wife, but claims she doesnt like the way he denied harrassing the other women? So she’s so concerned about these other women? What an absolute liar.

If that's what happened, I guess you would say he chose "poorly." No good deed goes unpunished. More than once I have been screwed by someone I had been charitable to. Maybe she was what Jesus meant when he said "...the least of these"?

I called it a sting, you said, set-up = is there a difference?
A betrayal, for sure, which is what I meant.
Why not tell her “good friend” first, instead of having the Fox5 reporter call from her phone?

Palin, Miller, Angle, ODonnell, Cain. This all reminds me of the Salem witch trials.

Vay told the media to look at the details of her lawsuit, which is even more dredible than anything she might say.
Also, there is no way these to could have been in business that long and White never mentioning Cain.

We also found a lawsuit filed by a former business partner, Kimberly Vay, who once sought a stalking temporary protective order against Ms. White for repeated e-mails/texts threatening lawsuit and defamation of character. The case was dismissed; but was followed by a libel lawsuit against Ms. White. A judge entered an order in favor of Kimberly Vay because Ms. White failed to respond to the lawsuit.When asked why, under those circumstances, her claims against Cain should be believed, White said, Because I admit it. Whatever happened with Kim happened. Just as there would make no sense for me to come out with these allegations against Herman if it absolutely wasnt true.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Additional details about the above:
"A former business partner, Kimberly Vay, sued White this year after a dispute that began when White wrote disparaging comments about Vay in a mass e-mail comments that White recanted four months later as part of a legal settlement."
"She came back and stated that everything she stated in the e-mail was completely false, Vay said in an interview. She admitted to making it all up out of anger and frustration."
Above is Vay's not-widely-reported statement that I posted in this previous thread
I have seen many situations where an attorney or party claimed to have served papers on another party but for whatever reason it didn't reach the other party.
What we seem to have here, is an attorney that has been with White for some time. She talks of thinking all the litigation was over. Did she not receive court documents related to the slander charges? She's a big girl. She's supposed to be sharp. There is recourse if you didn't receive notification. If there is no proof of service, then she can go back to the court and seek redress.
Libel allegations are fairly common in business disputes, where one party claims another disparaged him/her.
I don't doubt that, but actually winning a libel case against your opponent isn't that easy. For whatever reason, you're saying White's attorney did not object to the charges. For all we know, White knew her client didn't have a chance, and declined to object so that she could claim exactly what she is right now.
I know people on the forum desperately want to believe Cain and regard all his accusers and nuts and sluts. I don't feel I have enough publicly available information to decide who's right.
Neither do we, but a pattern has undeniably developed here, and all the accusers have credibility issues that go beyond the facts of their charges against Cain. I also notice that while you do address the issue of Cain's supporters wanting desperately to believe in him, you don't address the matter of other candidate's supporters wanting desperately not to believe him.
It does seem odd that a woman who Cain says he's given money to would lie about this because making the allegation cuts off any more of it. It also seems odd that a person he had done favors for, would come out of the woodwork now to make charges against him when she had nothing to gain by doing it. Or did she?
This is why I'm skeptical of any candidate for President who has never won elective office. They just haven't been fully vetted and tested.
And just how much did the vetting of Barack Obama save us, a man who held two elective offices before becoming president?
Maybe Cain comes through this, but I'm afraid there has been too much damage.
It's up to us if he comes through this or not. We can listen to a number of women who have been proven to be of low character themselves, or a man who until know has been know to have decent character.
I'm not sure where the confusion is coming from. This is cut and dried to me.
I was never a supporter of Palin, but I defended her against charges similar to those made against Cain. It was the right thing to do then, and it's the right thing to do now.
