In a conference call this morning, Herman Cain told his senior staff that he is reassessing whether to remain in the race

Chris, consider Santorum. Less baggage.
Whether FReepers believe the woman or Cain is utterly irrelevant.
What matters is whether people that voted for Obama in 2008 believe the woman or Cain.
Unfortunately, I don't think Herman Cain has the (seemingly) preternatural abilities of Bill Clinton.
The press had to be dragged kicking and screaming to that one because they were being scooped by the National Enquirer, of all things. Even then, they wouldn't have touched if it Edwards was still a viable candidate for anything.
I agree. The hand we’ve been dealt sucks big time. I like the hand you proposed much better.
They will just make up stuff, like they did to Clarence Thomas, Sarah Palin and Herman Cain.
YES, WE CAIN!
Yep.
Looks like it will be Rommeny’s turn to loose in the General election.
If no baggage exists, then baggage will be created.
Bachmann. :-) She has done more damage to herself with her mouth than humanly possible.
You can absolutely count on two things in the life you have left.
1. You WILL die.
2. And ... I WILL vote against the stain comes next November; therefore your vote for the stain is hereby nullified.
Pathetic. So, in your world it's Cain or Obozo? Some choice. If Obozo wins say goodbye to the U.S. Just remember the part you played in our destruction.
It was meant as a compliment. :)
lol. I WON’T vote for Obama.
okay?
I am saying that Mitt and Obama are the same except that Mitt will also destroy the GOP from the inside.
Or, you could have your masters close all of your public records and invent an entirely new past for you, with ghost written autobiographies, forged birth certificates, phony draft registrations, and multiple social security numbers.
Less baggage, but no chance. Santorum has been and will remain my #1 choice, but he just can’t make headway in the polls.
The reason why is that he’s a lot like me: passionate about his beliefs but not necessarily the most likeable person.
Reagan Man, have you considered the other Rick — Santorum? Less baggage.
“Bush and Perry are both smart men.”
Neither of them sound like it.
There ARE no other words. Do not attempt to parse the un-parsable.
I am....and I will vote AGAINST the stain come next November.
Period.
This is true and if it reaches a point where FReepers are supporting the Kenyan Marxist because they hate the GOP nominee more, I’ll just check out here until after the election. I’m doing everything humanly possible to get rid of that sorry POS in the WH. That’s my choice. I will vote for a conservative in the primary and for whoever wins the GOP nomination. I will not sit home, knowing, that by not voting that is a vote for that hideous excuse of an American and a man. I guess people just don’t get what happens if he gets to elect one or two more to the Supreme Court. You can kiss it good bye, the fat lady will sing, and any hope of conservatism is lost forever.
