At least there is a little good news, which came about because of an unexpected event during a clinical trial.

A new drug required blood liver chemicals to be monitored in the human test subjects. Needing a placebo, the researchers decided to use Vitamin E. Unexpectedly, of their *control* group that had fatty liver, without changing their diet, the Vitamin E normalized their livers.

Which ruined the experiment, but opened a new door to research. Subsequently it was found that Vitamin E can reverse fatty liver.

However, Vitamin E can produce its own problems. But this was already known, and it was also known that also taking a selenium supplement *with* the Vitamin E neutralized its deleterious effects.

Thanks for the Vitamin E / selenium tip.

I had/have sugar/fructose-induced nafld and have been years trying to turn it around.

I will read up on that ‘fix’.
