Two problems I see; 1) The Posse Comitatus Act prohibits US Military from civil arrest/confining within the US, and 2) The US Military has no jurisdiction for civil arrest outside the US. This is wrong no matter how you look at it.

A third problem is that the government refuses to be constrained by any law restricting its power. So what the Bill of Rights, or the Posse Comitatus act says, is wholly irrelevant.

This is wrong no matter how you look at it. Whatever restrictions exist because of current law, can be overturned in a moment by the passage of a different law.

And yes, I wholly understand that the answer to that question, becomes the start of a revolution and either the fall of the nation or the restoration of Constitutional government.
