They’re old friends. Perry has loads of them. This guy is going to go on the stump with Perry, too:

Do you think there’s some mistake?
Face it, the illegal issue was just used to derail Perry.
Many of the same people who thought that ONE issue was enough to throw Perry under the bus, are now arguing that it doesn’t really matter now that it’s destroying “their” candidate Gingrich.
I say a pox on all their houses!
I stand with Cain!
He didn’t have to SAY anything.
I’d be willing to bet they have conferred for years about the Border problem.
It has to be sealed anyone with a brain knows that.
demoralizing
The choices 3 years ago were huckleberry/romney/mccain and the sheriff picked romney out of that weak class. Now, it is Perry or Gingrich and he chose Perry, I dont see a problem, what else could he do.
The anti Perry folks will be out in force over this.
They will be lit up like Christmas Tree’s
Interesting. I think in the last cycle he endorsed Romney.
Probably “I’m with You”
TT
Sheriff Arpaio will do anything just to antagonize the hell out of the commie libs. He lives for it.
Sheriff Joe’s endorsement carries a lot of weight. I guess he went with what
he thought was the pick of the litter. Perry’s stock should rise with this news.
Strike #2.
(Strike #1 was endorsing Butch Napolitano for AZ Governor)
Perry is a good guy, generally. Not perfect from the conservative point of view in dealing with illegals who have been left to cross the border in Texas, but he is an American-American man. Liberal-tarians, Rinos and leftists hate his guts.
Just asking how does this factor in ? The group behind the successful recall of Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce is now targeting infamous Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.
Citizens For A Better Arizona is gauging interest among Arizona voters for a recall of Brewer (R), saying they would back a recall effort if they get 5,000 people to sign a volunteer petition in which each person pledges to collect 100 signatures. If Governor Brewer is recalled, I commit to being one of 5,000 citizens to collect 100 signatures, the petition says.
For Brewer to be recalled, they would have to collect 432,000 valid signatures. Her term is currently set to end in 2014.
CFBA was the driving force behind the recall election of Pearce (R), who is infamous for drafting the states immigration crackdown. The efforts were primarily focused on mobilizing Hispanic voters to get out to the polls in order to elect a Republican with a more moderate stance on immigration.
On the same volunteer petition, there is also an option for voters to join a Citizens Posse in an effort to target Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who is up for a sixth term in next years election. Hold Sheriff Arpaio accountable by attending actions, making calls and recruiting volunteers, the petition says.
Randy Parraz and Chad Snow, who co-founded Citizens for a Better Arizona, announced the new effort Monday. Our job is to listen to the citizens of Arizona, Parraz told the Arizona Republic.
Brewer said of the recall effort Monday: I havent given it any thought.
Arpaio also dismissed the efforts. Its my job to enforce all the laws, he said. If they dont like it, thats their problem.

Now switch to Brewer..Most GOP governors refuse to join calls for Attorney General Holder’s resignation
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, whose state was home base for the failed operation, resisted calling for Holders resignation. A spokesman for Brewer told The Hill that the Obama administration has badly mishandled Fast and Furious and its response to the operation. He said she was looking forward to the results of the congressional investigation and the DOJs inspector general (IG) probe, which has been underway since March.
The individuals responsible for this failed operation need to be held accountable, said Matthew Benson, communications director for Brewer, in an email to The Hill.
The governor is not a one-woman judge and jury, however, so shes not willing to call for the attorney general to resign until all of the information has been presented. But it is clear that Fast and Furious has undermined Governor Brewers confidence in Attorney General Holder, given that this failed operation occurred under his watch.

Something is amiss here..
Perhaps Arpaio knows Perry’s views on immigration enforcement better than most of the posters on FR.
100% chance that Perrybots will continue to CLAIM she's endorsed him next month, even if she's out campaigning for another candidate for President. They'll just continue to roll out the old dusty quote where Sarah Palin endorsed him over a couple of turds for GOVERNOR and photoshop her into their "Perry 4 President" banner. Perrybots truly have no shame. I'm surprised Newt's supporters haven't tried this yet, given that about 3/4ths of his fans on this board seem to be former Perrybots that realized their guy is now less likely than Ron Paul to win the nomination. The remaining Perrybots that are still on Ricardo's train have COMPLETELY detached themselves from reality. Perry will be the GOP nominee in 2012 the way Howard Dean was the RAT nominee in 2004. Yeeeeeeeeehah!!
>> I cant believe how much traction Newt has here on FR. Makes you wonder. <<
Most of the pro-open types here simply gave up on Ricardo now that he's polling behind a 77 year old libertarian kook, and have attached themselves to another train heading towards the amnesty station. Makes you wonder...
>> moonshinner_09; South40; Impy; BillyBoy; Dengar01 ALL agree with you. The sheriff is a RINO!!! <<
I haven't even posted on this thread until now, Baladas, and certainly haven't made any comment about Sheriff Joe. That you seem to THINK I did only reinforces Fieldmarshaldj's point that Perrybots are deranged and resort to damnable lies to make their case.
The last one I remember was Janet Napolitano for Governor.
