Democrats wanted him to be President? Tell me he can lead?
Kerry couldn't even persuade a small 12 person team to settle over small cuts, out of a huge budget, over 10 years, that should have been easy, even if you can't stand who you mistakenly call the "wealthiest people in the country" keeping more of their income.

And then belly-ache as if his Democrat illogic...is logic?
tax increases on the "wealthiest people in the country" for deficit reduction are going to be
good for economic growth and recovery?
Never, you might get a one time short-term windfall, but it ain't going to last long-term.

No, Kerry, it's all about about how you have failed to govern over the years and years you've been Senator. And who are you passing off as "wealthiest people in the country"? Wrong! They are actually financially below the "wealthiest people in the country". Get a clue! Also, it is none of your business with how much money anyone makes or what they do with their income.

Why don’t they just get rid of the automatic increases in the current spending and start cutting from there. There’s no need to raise taxes.

Kerry won’t tell you that when the Democrats took Congress and the Senate in November, 2006, their dogmatic Keynesian redistributionist policies have worked to destroy the U.S. economy. When the Democrats took over, the national debt was 1.8% of the Gross Domestic Product. Now it is 10% and climbing. Unemployment was 4.7%. Now it is above 9%.

Democrats have encouraged the growing size of government which contributes very little value for the economy and costs a colossal amount to maintain. Democrat spending has contributed to a constantly growing national debt which is over $14 trillion. Their answer is more taxation, which drains the available money out of people’s hands into the government and destroys the incentive to create new wealth. This ignores the fact that when you reduce taxes, businesses create new wealth, more people are employed and tax revenue increases. Increased tax revenue through lower taxes is the answer; not more taxation.

When government spends more and borrows more to pay for its deficits, less money is in people’s hands to create economic growth and jobs.

The United States has lost approximately 42,400 factories since 2001. Democrats have allowed other nations to manipulate their currency rates, impose high tariffs, put up artificial barriers to American products and flood our markets with cheap products. Democrats then hurt American industry with over-regulation, over-taxation and allow unlimited civil liability. Such policy has contributed to the exploding U.S. trade deficit, the ongoing devaluation of the U.S. Dollar and the shrinking middle class.

Democrats have turned a blind eye to rampant corruption on Wall Street. They are the major players in Crony Capitalism where politicians give favorable government policy and contracts to those who give campaign contributions. These campaign contributions, many derived from tax dollars, become a slush fund for playing the stock market using insider trader info from their Wall Street connections. This is why they want to grow Government. It to increase their client base, many who throw that money back to them in the form of campaign money. This money is sent to encourage continued grant money, contracts and favorable laws that hurt competitors.

Democrats have failed to stop the increasing derivatives bubble because they benefit from them. The Wall Street reform bill did next to nothing about derivatives. When this bubble finally pops, it will cause an economic catastrophe of Biblical proportions.

Democrats have turned a blind eye to the growing retirement crisis that threatens to bankrupt America. It is ironic that Baby Boomers who have largely kept Democrats in power have ironically set the stage for their own disaster Social Security is soon to collapse and the states are $3.2 trillion short of what they need to meet their pension obligations. And Baby Boomers are the first ones to call for free medical handouts in the form of Obamacare. They will find out the folly in trusting the Democrats.

In fact, when the Democrats rammed Obamacare down our throats it never fixed the health care industry. They made it worse. America will realize this failure as the aging Baby Boomers impact the system.

Oppose “providing $1.2 trillion of deficit reduction”

Okay... we just got a free peak at the latest moronic mantra we'll be hearing from every one of them for the next six months. How ‘bout coming up with one of our own instead of just letting theirs become accepted truth by dint of constant repetition?

I'll start the contest with, “we're not going to let them spend money we don't have”. Next?

The single biggest threat this county has hands down is the democratic party. They have and are the worst infection this country has or will ever see!
The damage from a nuclear attract from Iran would be overshadowed by the damage democrats have been allow to inflict on our lives.

Kerry knows that “the rich” will never have to pay the higher tax rates he proposes in spite of any “loopholes” closed - both Democrats and Republicans (including him) will provide plenty of other “loopholes” (deductions, credits and other mechanisms) for “the rich” to keep their tax bill as low or lower than it is now.

Democrats (including him) will then blame this on Republicans when tax revenue fails to materialize.

Kerry’s wife - and their combined net worth and income (which is mostly hers) - need to constantly be in the news and on the internet as much as conservatives can put it there. (Sane and smart) creativity is needed to get the word out. Only if this is constantly flashed in the minds of “the poor” who also happen to vote Democrat will they perhaps start actually seeing through the scam a little teeny bit.

From a man who said reducing the size of a planned Budget Increase is a Cut when he was running for President in 2004. Nobody called him on that back then.

Just last week on Meet The Depressed he admitted that there were no Budget Cuts in play, just a slower rate of planned increases.

Why do none of our Candidates, with the exception of Ron Paul, bring up the fraud of Baseline Budgeting?

Kerry is too big to fail: people in MA simply adore him and always will. He will be the heir to the EMK mystique.

Senator Kerry meant to say “Texas” will be an issue in the coming months, and it was a “botched joke”.
