Oregon is a Leftist state—and socialists don’t have the high moral standing to execute anyone.
It takes a state secure in it’s sense of true justice to met out the ultimate penalty for the ultimate crimes.
The fact is if you don’t have capital punishment you are morally weak and mentally challenged about the concept of true justice—IOW it is best that you DON’T have capital punishment.
I’m calling BS.
The death penalty has nothing to do with moral authority. Can you honestly say there are any politicians who stand on moral high ground?
The death penalty is about protecting the women and children and everybody else.
That’s the bottom line.
People who have committed crimes that deserve death have proven they are animals, and have no regard for others.
Worse than that, they are INTELLIGENT animals who will go to any length to get what they want.
