The Council on American-Islamic Relations was not pleased by Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s call to profile Muslims as a way to combat terrorism during Tuesday night’s GOP debate on CNN.
Answering debate moderator Wolf Blitzer’s question about whether he would support ethnic or religious profiling, Santorum replied that Muslims should be profiled.
Santorum explained that he would support profiling “the folks who are most likely to be committing these crimes.”
“Obviously Muslims would be someone you’d look at, absolutely. Those are the folks — the radical Muslims — are the people who are committing these crimes by and large,” he said. “As well as younger males, I mean these are things, not exclusively, but these are things you profile to find your most likely candidate.”
CAIR took offense. In response, the Muslim advocacy group called on the Republican Party to repudiate Santorum’s remarks.

I love Santorum. Its not politically correct and sad to say conservatives consider his endorsement of Specter more damaging than Gingrich’s endorsement of Scozzefava. At least Santorum is still a conservative. But no one wants him because hey, he isn’t “electable.” Well newsflash: neither is the newtbots’ flavor of the month, Gingrich.
CAIR needs to take their @$$e$ back to the sewer they crawled out of and stay out of American politics. If we want any crap out of them, we’ll unscrew their heads and dip it out.

Agreed. When I heard that, I know who is exactly the kind of guy I want for President. Someone who drops the Bush Era ROP BS and treats Islam as the enemy! I’m tickled pink CAIR and the Left are upset!
Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet and he died. They believe he is in heaven with Allah.
How do they propose any human can profile Jesus if they believe he is in their heaven?
CAIR makes my head hurt, because they aren’t only petulant, they are unreasonable, deceitful Islamists that insult my Christian faith.
Everyone is profiled every single day in one form of another. Ever taken a customer survey? They are literally profiling their customers.
Agreed: Screw CAIR; I think we should be profiling every one of their members and digging out the terrorist connections that will be found there. Arrest them all, try them and hang them in the public square; so their cowardly terrorist brothers can see that we are finally serious about this global war on all terrorists.
Even if Santorum doesn’t profile Jesus, he should continue to profile the Muslims—especially the members of CAIR.

The statement made by CAIR denies the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If the leaders of ANY group explicitly express that their group seeks the destruction of the United States or any other race or group within the it’s borders, and there is no credible dissension amongst the members of the group on such expression - and then attacks are actually carried out and there is no clear majority condemnation of the attacks but tacit approval - one can only conclude that the group is rife with people of the same mind as the hate mongers who lead it, and the group is, in fact, the threat that it claims to be.
He wants to profile MooHAMid, not Jesus.
How do you know if someone is a Muslim? Are airports going to start asking for religious affiliation when you buy a ticket?
He should of said profile middle-eastern men.
