Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
Agreed. Take action on the borders.
That’s sarcasm, right?
Didn’t somebody call Paul a “whiny creep” earlier?
Good call. I think it’s past his bedtime.
A Republican moderator should get the chance to ask Obama some hardball questions. The Democrat Press Corp throws underhand pitches to their T Ball player Obama.
I don’t think it’s his aim...I think it’s just his top-end...
Romney: We need to lead the world so they don’t attack us...
Right...
Whiny scary Ron Paul would be great at hollering at kids to stay offa his lawn
???

Good idea. Wolf needs to heat up the glass of milk at the break and send him backstage for a night’s sleep.
Wolf Blitzer keeps saying, “Let me get this clear, are you with governor XXX or are you against him.”
what;s the difference between Newt and Obamas current stop deporting people unless they are violent felons? “ <<<
I believe the difference is in securing the border, and allowing the border states to secure the southern border, with full federal assistance and support. Obama has left the states helpless, stymied them by regulation and strapped them with paying for national defense in defending their state. Texas has spent a fortune by itself.
Anybody who does NOT KNOW what happened on Sept. 6 2007 and does not understand the reason to repeat it on Iran DOES NOT have any business being CINC.
I did not know Syria were oil meisters.
We will look it up later.
Outstanding...
I like the fact that Mitt is moving forward and attacking O in the course of his comments. Good answer.
Good point, Mitt. Let the other countries in the region put pressure on Syria. Excellent. We are overextended. Let Arab Spring play out.
Perry’s all wrong with his ass-kickin’ approach... imo.
Wolf’s trying to get them to fight and argue with each other. It’s a classic techique.
Let me guess. You wanted to intervene in Libya too.
