Really a part-time Congress makes a bad situation worse: it gives still more power to the permanent staffers who already have too much power.
Ever watched a congressional session?? If there are more than 10 seated, it would be unusual. They run in for a vote and run out just as quick.
Their numbers would be much smaller.
The point is, none of them are needed. All they do is spend most of their time feathering their own nests!
Do you think this is what the Founding Fathers envisioned? that they live in D.C. and visit their districts?

He also mentioned cutting the staff of the congress critters which has been needed for a long time.
