Just like running wind sprints will improve stamina. John Elway oughta step up and work with him.

That was a great shot of Elway in his skybox last night after the Tebow score. Elway had a huge smile on his face not only because Denver took the lead in the closing seconds, but because he can rest assured that his passing records at Denver aren't about fall any time soon.

At least Tebow hasn’t lined up behind the guard, like Elway did his rookie season.

Probably true. But keep in mind, there are a number of great QBs who have historically stunk in their first year;

John Elway (4 and 6)
Terry Bradshaw (3 and 5)
Johnny Unitas (3 and 4)
Peyton Manning (3 and 13)
Joe Montana (2 and 5)

Compare Elway and Tebow at this point in their careers and the numbers all favor Tebow (not just winning stats but passing stats too). I think Elway forgets that sometimes. Tebow will not be the pocket passer that Elway was but give him some playmakers and an offense that is built around him and he will succeed at the NFL level. The guy set records as a high school quarterback in Florida, won 2 National Championships and a Heisman in college, and is 4-1 as a starter in the pros. The guy just knows how to win. The main negative against him is that he was born in the Philippines so won't be able to run for President down the road.
