Sarah Palin: How Congress Occupied Wall Street - WSJ.com
Wall Street Journal ^ | November 18, 2011 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 11/18/2011 7:50:31 AM PST by LJM

Mark Twain famously wrote, "There is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress." Peter Schweizer's new book, "Throw Them All Out," reveals this permanent political class in all its arrogant glory. (Full disclosure: Mr. Schweizer is employed by my political action committee as a foreign-policy adviser.)

So... why are you sitting out perhaps the most important presidential election in America's brief history??

Agreed, but that shouldn't stop us from voting straight party ticket as usual, come next Nov.

Any Republican will be far better than Bari.

As a former huge supporter of Palin for President let me say you have asked the million dollar question. When I saw this article (and others since declining to run)the first thing that now enters my mind is “tell me something I don’t know...”

There are plenty of us out here that know that...we needed somebody who had the means and the visibility to lead us.

As of this time she’s just part of the chattering class.

Yes I’m still pretty bitter about it :)

“And if Conservatives & Republicans pick Perry over Gingrich & Romney as the nominee, I predict Perry will ask Sarah to be VP. “

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!

I could care less about the party. If its Romney, he has stated that his main goal is to moderate the party. I am never voting for Romney for anything.

You would seriously sit out or not vote for President to unseat Obamah if Romney somehow wins the nomination which I don't think he will?

Wow!

We'll see who has my final support come Super Tuesday, but regardless who wins the primary, I'll be voting straight party ticket.

If so, I implore her - Sarah, please travel the nation advocating ...

Sarah Palin for President.

For all the faults of current primary candidates, THEY'RE RUNNING and Sarah is not.

If Palin endorses Perry I will have lost all respect for anything she’s said or will say.

IMHO this post is just another sad attempt by the Perrywinkles to push their candidate. Like the outcome based polling their also very good at.

Good thing we can track fund raising. It’s the only reliable indicator of a candidate’s standing.

Has anyone noticed how quiet the fake Cain accusers have gotten? Where the heck is Gloria Full of Crap and her goofy press conferences? Surely she can find tons of women who’ll lie about Cain for money.

A most excellent question, and the precise reason I believe Gov. Palin lacks courage. She said that the threats against her family were a factor in her not running (Mark Levin interview). This leads me to believe the death threats were too much for her (and that they came from both GOP and Democrat sources), so she went back to the bunker in Wasilla.

I don't want a president who says "family first." No.

I read the article. Palin is having a sweet dream here, but it is a dream nonetheless. Why would Congress pass laws limiting itself? "Sudden and relentless reform" FROM WHERE? The Courts? Not happening. The Executive Branch? Congress neutered that back in 1974 with the Impoundment Act.

There are no more political solutions to the problem of the out-of-control federal government. We are going to have to have a president who is willing to BREAK THE SO-CALLED LAW and EVEN BE IMPEACHED for firing millions of bureaucrats and closing whole departments over the objections of Congress. It is the only way.

Damn straight! This isn't about fixing the GOP brand....this is pure survival. If I can have my say between a head cold and brain cancer, you bet I will make my choice. See the tagline!

‘I could care less about the party. If its Romney, he has stated that his main goal is to moderate the party. I am never voting for Romney for anything.’
Party is just a fund raising vehicle, with little or no discernible substantive philosophical basis. The Democrats have a rigid command and control structure controlled by the agenda of union socialism hiding under the fig leaf of labor. The Big Union way is the Democrat way for candidates or they lose.
Republicans have a diffuse structure, every dog for himself and his supporters, and little actual interest in serious political thought, with a few exceptions, (Reagan, Palin, Newt, and several others).
In a fit of pique, some may choose to blindly vote a straight ticket for a lost cause, an empty suit and a bumper sticker.
Each day shows the Republican Party drifting into greater disarray and weakness. Like the Whigs and Tories, I expect the Republicans to also be rejected, discarded and replaced, in the 2012 election perhaps.
Governor Sarah Palin is the most articulate Conservative spokesperson and addressed the issues in thoughtful way that I support.
If Mr. Romney can win in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, he may get the nomination and a brief moment in the sun. If nominated, Mr. Romney could be the last Republican Presidential candidate.

A Third Party!

Yep, that's the answer all right. ...that'll show those Republicans!

- NOT -

A Ron Paul or Sarah Palin 3rd Party bid is lunacy!

DTogo [to Palin]: So... why are you sitting out perhaps the most important presidential election in America’s brief history??

dirtboy: Largely because the MSM has destroyed her standing with much of the American people?

I’m going to go with dirtboy here and add that if Palin had run, I would be terrified for her life. Just look at the frothing insanity of the OWS scum. Now imagine the level that insanity could reach with their Soros/DNC/union/LSM puppetmasters instigating them against Palin.

Sad to say, but that may well be a reason to stay out of the race.

i’m waiting for Sarah. if it’d help get her into the race, i’d walk from florida to alaska and ask her to help our country.

she has the ability. she has the history. she also, probably, fears for the safety of her family, rightly so.

i would personally stand guard to insure her and her family were safe... and i’m sure i wouldn’t be alone.

i don’t pray very often... but i’ve found myself praying she would help save us from ourselves.

we’re on the edge... and Sarah is the only chance this country has.
