Report: Israel To Employ High-Tech Weapons In Iran Strike

Current and former US intelligence officials estimate that any Israeli attack on nuclear sites in Iran would go far beyond airstrikes from F-15 and F-16 fighter jets and likely include electronic warfare against the Islamic Republic's electric grid, Internet, cell phone network, and emergency frequencies for firemen and police officers.

The officials, who based their assessment on a US intelligence report published last summer, told the Daily Beast news website that Israel has been assembling a multibillion-dollar array of high-tech weapons that would allow it to jam, blind, and deafen Tehran's defenses in the case of a pre-emptive aerial strike.

I thought this would be solved years ago.

Same here, but I cannot imagine the preparation required for the operation and certain regional blowback. Problems getting the reactor online and Stuxnet were likely methods to give more time. Additionally, the political climate changed in 2008. I believe 2012, being a presidential election year, has some bearing on what will transpire.

I'd expect Israel to do something after we've left Iraq. Obama will get a call from Netanyahu....similar to the one Pakistan probably got during/after the bin Laden raid......saying "we're doing this, deal with it."

He'll be boxed in. If he supports Israel, he'll have to deal with his base. If he doesn't he'll have to deal with everyone else.

These are all assumptions, of course. Biggest problem is.....they're assumptions based on what we know. Generally, that changes on a regular basis and some of it isn't true anyway.

They will use a EMP bombs via cruise missiles from a submarine. Not nuclear but will take down the electrical grid and hopefully Iran’s defenses. This would be prior to an air attack and would be coordinated with ground operations.

We will get a first hand look at what happens during an EMP. The first strike weapon of choice of either the USA or Russia in any exchange and Iran’s ultimate goal for the USA. (a nuke exploded 250 miles over Chicago that takes out the entire USA electrical grid permanently according to the 2008 EMP Commission Report to Congress.

Does everyone have a years supply of food per person? It is really easy and it lasts 30 years so no rotation needed. Do it for your family if not for yourself. Buy 5 gallon, 5 mil Mylar bags ($2 each) and 2000 cc oxygen absorbers, seal with an iron and put it in a metal garbage can in the basement. One garbage can is about 8 months supply for one person. Concentrate on high calorie foods. Canned food lasts 50 years at room temperature (FDA) so buy what your family eats. Choose not to be a victim.
