Herman Cain leads the Republican presidential field in Iowa, according to a new poll released Thursday.
The Iowa State University/Gazette/KCRG poll found that the former Godfather's Pizza CEO leads the GOP field in Iowa with the support of 24.5 percent of Republican voters. Cain is followed by Ron Paul with 20.4 percent of the vote, then Mitt Romney with 16.3 percent.
The poll's findings are somewhat in contrast with a number of recent national polls that found Cain's recent front-runner or near-front-runner status disappearing in light of allegations that he sexually harassed a number of women while he was president of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.

You think they got smarter since Reagan was elected? Wishful thinking I am afraid.
“This old boyfriend even did an appearance with Gloria Allred to confirm the story.”
LOL! I didn’t realize that he was in the car with them. Was he driving? :)
This poll was november 1-13. It’s mostly old news. So if you give any credence to polls, and you shouldn’t, this poll is worse than most, as can be seen by Rasmussen having an entirely different result.
The poll being discussed in this thread was as follows:
“and surveyed 979 registered Republicans and 277 registered independents. Of those polled, 377 (30.0 percent) stated that they definitely or probably would attend the Republican caucus on Tuesday, Jan. 3.”
So it’s 377 likely voters. It’s also a 13-day poll starting November 1st, so it won’t have caught the downtrend, or Gingrich’s upswing. And it shows that only 16% are committed to their pick; most say they are undecided, and the rest are only mildly interested in their choice.
It amazes me every time we have a conservative running; this conservative is trashed usually led by the elitists. People scream all of the time we need a change and vote conservative than they either turn around and vote for RINOS or follow the fools that do.
Make up your minds. Either you want a solid America or you don’t. I do.
