Please pray on this day, and every day, for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm's way around the world in defense of our liberty, and for the families awaiting their safe return.
Let it rain!
That was a great race. But, I wasn’t a Kulwicki fan - so this was better. LOL
Sure had been nice not seeing Smoke fade back in the field like he did allot at the start and middle of the season. So many times I saw him at the front of the pack only to end up around 14 to 18th. I wanted to email his crew chief to tell him to take the reverse gear out of the car. Glad they got it all worked out.
Raining hard now.
2-7-13-15. I can live with that.
‘Course Elliot won the race but Kulwicki won the points.
That’s a great score.
Gotta be the closest margin ever. I’m happy.
Now we go thru a long dry spell till Daytona.
Thanks to All for another season following the action and the tracks and off..
I’m up in the air myself for next year.. I’m looking for some folks to step up and carry-on.. this old dog is ready for a nap.
10 years is maybe enough gunslinging on these race threads and then sweeping up the peanut shells after the lights are dimmed.
Any takers or interested folk, Glock and NYT can fill ya in on how easy it is to do.. and Yes, even a caveman could do it. ;-)
Thanks NR. I seldom pipe in, but I always appreciate your efforts.
Yup. And I watched that race the first time with my late husband. He did love Kulwicki so it was a family contention. I guess that shows the memorability of the race, in that I can remember where and with whom I saw it.
The final comments by Carl Edwards made me proud. He’s quite a guy and that was a stand up show from a genuine sportsman and competitor. My respect goes out to him. I didn’t record him and I sure hope it shows up on YouTube soon.
Heh...King Richard...
“I wanted to go out in a blaze of glory but that’s not the kind of blaze I had in mind.”
If I had a scheduled and reliable job I would gladly step in. Unfortunately, I just don’t have a schedule and often can’t access anything more complicated than a pocket calculator.
let me know, since most weeks I'm in SJ on Tuesday you could come over to Story Ave. and help me with the html...
thank you for sponsoring what we all love to hate but would miss if it weren't here...
just like FR, so for those that haven't, jump in there and donate...
Good job this year, thanks!
Glok has his work cut out for him...
Hey, this is like the mob...ya just don’t retire! (alive)
Anyway, I’ll happily share the secret NASCAR source code to anyone that steps up to the plate!
Nice job this year, Roccus
You have been a kind and benevolent leader!
Tork + 299 points = moved up 3 spots = 9th place
