You must be confusing me with someone else. I have never smeared Mr Cain. I used to enjoy listening to him when he had his own radio program on AM 750 WSB.

It is false that he served papers on his wife while she lay in a hospital dying of Cancer.
Understood....my point is that he divorced a woman with cancer which doesn’t sit well. Maybe the wife asked for the divorce...I’m not talking about the serving of the papers, just the part about “in sickness and in health” vow which seems not to have been honored.
They’ll destroy him over the multiple divorces, his involvement with Freddie Mac, etc.
Maybe you should review the facts. I am not defending Newt, but these zingers have been planted and accepted as truth. I believed them myself, but that nasty one, just isn't true. The wife requested the meeting, the marriage was over. She had a benign tumor removed and is still living.
Newt's daughter has written the truth of the event, the mother doesn’t deny that account. Think about how many lies were told about Palin and there were many, then ask how many lies are repeated, even here on this forum. Maybe it is time to slow them down a little, because Cain is now in the crossfire.
I don’t disagree with you. Lies are out there on both sides. There are lies about Obama that aren’t true, lies about Palin, Newt, Romney, etc. It’s blood sport.
That was my point...it will continue to define him, whether it is accurate or not. Many people will believe it. Look how many people believe Obama is from Kenya. Also, the three times married will define him as people will question his family values credentials.
I hope he can get by it. He is clearly the smartest candidate in the GOP race by a mile.
