STATE COLLEGE, Pa. Close to 10 additional suspected victims have come forward to the authorities since the arrest of the former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky on Nov. 5 on 40 counts of sexually abusing young boys, according to people close to the investigation. The police are working to confirm the new allegations.
The news of additional accusations came on a day when Sandusky made his first extended public comments since his arrest, and the resignation of the chief executive of the Second Mile foundation, the charity founded by Sandusky, was made public. They were the latest developments in a case that has led to the ouster of several top university officials, including the football coach, Joe Paterno, and the president, Graham B. Spanier.

The correct term for this behavior is pederast.
I had never seen or heard the term before Sandusky, but after looking it up, it is the correct description .
ALL sports at the school should be suspended for 3 years...
Thank God for Dr. Conrad Murray.
I’m no spring chicken myself, but I have lived long enough to know the difference between guilt in fact and guilt in a court of law. Citizens have both a right and a duty to assess other people on the basis of current knowledge. If you’re the parent of a child, it’s indispensible. Jerry Sandusky down the road may not have been proven a child molester in a court of law, but are you going to let your pre-adolescent boys go camping with him? Are you going to leave them alone in the company of a little league coach or a Scoutmaster whom you’ve noticed has a tendency to put his hands all over the children in his charge?
I wonder what NAMBLAs position is on this one?
You could always call the White House and ask for a referral to the expert on man/boy love, Kenneth Jenning. He got to be the czar to coordinate the “safe schools” program in the White House. My how lying liberals use language. A safe school is one safe for homo sex “victims” like Sandusky to act out without judgement and rejection.
So, you must believe OJ is innocent too ... after all, that was the result in a Court of Law!
Of course legal burdens of proof must apply in court. But commonsense is generally good enough when it comes to private citizens forming their own opinions.
“I made sure it stopped” may only mean that McQueary’s sudden appearance in the shower area stopped the rape cold, and that Sandusky grabbed the boy and fled, while McQueary was still reeling in shock. I never once thought McQueary left the boy behind with Sandusky continuing the assault. Failing to wrench the boy away from Sandusky immediately was plenty bad enough though.
Very true Sara and yet perverse in it's logic and perverse in the effect it has. It seems like Liberal Orthodoxy is perverse in it's very nature.
A related thought...We are loosing the language battle. We have lost the word “pervert.” It no longer has any common use in our culture. It has been banned. When do you hear the word “pervert” used to describe an individual...NEVER.
Politicol Correctness and Speech Police dominate.
In high-profile cases like this, the accused often get lawyers and proclaim their innocence. Bill Clinton said he never had sex with “that woman.” Michael Vick said he was looking forward to proving his innocence.
Part of it might be the defense lawyers themselves, who know they stand to make a lot of money if the case drags on and goes to trial. They would be biting the hand that feeds them if they said, “Well, of course you’re guilty, so let’s just plea-bargain and get it over with.”
Part of it might be the lesson from the O.J. Simpson trial: You can get away with murder if you get a good lawyer.
If I were on a jury, I would make my judgement based on the facts presented at the trial by the side that thinks he’s guilty and the side that thinks he is innocent. Since I am not on the jury, I make my decisions as a citizen, based on the facts presented to the public and the ethics involved. Learn the difference between one’s duty as a jurist versus one’s role as a member of society.
If you sleep walk through life imagining yourself on a jury when you are not on a jury, you won’t be prepared to excercise the ethical judgement needed to make moral decisions in life. If that is the case, you abandoned yourself to be an amoral man which means you could wake up in prison one day to the reality that life is really on a jury when you thought it was.
You are expected to make ethical judgements on the actions of others when you lead an organization and take action according, even without a judge and jury. Learn to make ethical judgements as a member of the public and your life.
Part of the fun for an organization that protects a boy sex operation and it’s operators, is a herd of victims mixed with syshters who come out of the wood work. It’s an expensive business - accomodating man/boy sex rings. Ask the Catholic Church...and the Boy Scouts.
So guess you couldn’t handle reading that grand jury report, eh Pops?
That’s too bad.
Hey, as long as you're consistent on this, bud.
O.J. Simpson. Did you "go to bat" for him pre-trial in your convos with friends, family & strangers? No?
Oh. I thought not.
How about Osama bin Laden for the 9/11 attacks? I know he was tried in abstentia starting Feb 5, 2001 for OTHER crimes...but not for 9/11.
Hitler wasn't tried, either, ya know. I hope you haven't bashed the media over its bashings of Hitler these past 75 years!
Sandusky's not in any hurry to accept any plea bargains; nor is he in any hurry to go to trial.
Hey, he's 67. If they can put off being sentenced for these crimes by say, a little over 2 years, it'll be the beginning of 2014...he'll be 69...
He's hoping some of these victims will bail on testifying...
As for the rest, he's hoping to simply get one or two white jurors with Nittany Lion affiliations to side with him for a hung jury as these mostly black boys (some now men) testify vs. him. That could stretch his "free" life into the 70s.
Evil turns everything that is true and moral up-side-down. Good is evil and evil is good.
That is the way it is with all of the Left’s agenda imposed on the public through with the propaganda lies and imposed on individuals and institutions with character smears and official oppression - an operation we call political correctness.
But I am sure that isn't enough for you to make a moral decision regarding him.
