Good enough?
The video is being taken out of context, said spokesman JD Gordon. He was taking questions for about 30 to 40 minutes on four hours of sleep. He didnt say anything wrong or in accurate; it just took him a while to recall the specifics of Libya.
Gordon added, It just took him a while to gain his bearings.
The clip was posted unedited by the Journal-Sentinel so I dont know what context he thinks was missing. Is there some context that would explain why he needed the editorial board to remind him whether Obama is pro- or anti-Qaddafi? Because Im thinking pretty much every one of our readers could nail that detail even on three hours sleep.
According to Andrew Rafferty of NBC News, When I asked Cain if todays Libya gaffe builds on idea he doesnt have in depth knowledge of foreign policy, he simply said, 999. Not a joke.
I guess well be okay as long as President Cain never gets a phone call at 3 a.m. The irony of todays supergaffe is that I think itll do him much less harm among primary voters generally than the harassment charges have, even though his hair-raising vagueness on key foreign-policy details is much more certain than whether he did anything to his accusers. Only political junkies will see the Libya clip; thanks to Gloria Allred, everyones seen the Bialek presser. ABCs out with a new poll tonight, in fact, showing Cains favorable rating now stands at 29/44, a steep drop from last months rating of 31/27. Thats a poll of adults, not of voters, but dont forget that Rasmussen also found his favorables underwater at 37/51 in a poll of likely voters last week. I dont know how he turns that around

But you're not running to be the boss of all of those employees. You'd think he would know their status. Heck, I'm not a federal employee, and I know that they're unionized.
Hey oh deaf one. People get whateveer news is out there for them. A sitting president gets thoroughly briefed every day and tosses it around;with his advisors, but he has the final say so, and of anyone running, I trust Mr. Cain to do the right thing. So why ask anyone not in that position such a question anyway?
It was a set up! And you fell for it!
>> This is the first time I can remember an print journalist editorial board releasing such a video.
Bait for the proud piranhas.
Uhh.. this is sarcasm, right?
Cain seemed to me to have suffered through his brain freeze as did Perry, but the two suffer differently. Perry basically, in my opinion, did not during his freeze look so personally tragic about it. Cain nearly crawled out of his chair and up the wall behind him. Perry took it in better stride and simply apologized, with some humor by adding “oops”. Cain appeared far more personally uncomfortable with himself. What that means, I have no idea. Just my two cents.
Cain has still peaked, so it isn’t going to matter.
Sarcasm, no.
Satire.
