A doctor who once dated Herman Cain accuser Sharon Bialek came forward today to say that he remembered Bialek telling him in 1997 that Cain had "touched her in an inappropriate manner," and that he was the one who urged her to contact lawyer Gloria Allred and go public with her accusation.
Dr. Victor Zuckerman of Shreveport, Louisiana, who appeared at a Monday afternoon press conference with attorney Gloria Allred, said he had decided to go public himself in order to rebut Herman Cain's public statement that he had no idea who Sharon Bialek was and couldn't recall ever meeting her. "I'm here to shed light on whether or not Herman Cain knows Sharon Bialek."
Four different women have accused the Republican presidential frontrunner of sexually harassing them while they worked at the National Restaurant Association. Karen Kraushaar and a second woman filed internal complaints with the trade group and received financial settlements. A third woman told the Associated Press she had considered filing a complaint against Cain but decided against because a coworker had already filed.
Cain has categorically denied all allegations of sexual harassment.
Bialek became the fourth accuser, and the first to go public, with a New York press conference on Nov. 7. She alleges Cain put his hand up her skirt, reached for her genitals and pulled her head toward his crotch. Bialek claims that when she resisted, he said, "You want a job, don't you?"
At the press conference, Gloria Allred flourished signed statements from two different men to whom Bialek had allegedly reported Cain's "inappropriate behavior" at the time. One of the men was described as a longtime friend and Chicago businessman, the other as a pediatrician Bialek was dating.

You can meet someone but know nothing about them.
That is still a truthful statement. Unless they were close acquaintances for a long period of time, I don’t think Cain’s saying he doesn’t remember her would strike me as being strange.
I would have the same reaction. Is there any particular reason you want me to recall about someone who wasn’t even a friend of mine?

I leave that up for the lawyers. In every day situations, we don’t take notes about what happened to us.

He doesn't know who she is because he has no recollection of meeting her. You are saying crazy things in order to criticize Mr. Cain.
Nothing we heard today could be admitted to a court of law.
That’s the long and short of it. Bialek’s ex boyfriend doesn’t corroborate her story. At best he’s a character witness.
But his motives for coming forward are obscure.

It breaks my heart that such a good man is having his entire life and reputation he spent decades building, completely destroyed. And they’ll get away with it. I have no doubt they’ll keep this up until they sink him. And then Newt. Then they can paint Romney with every stereotype they have about big business & republicans being the party of big business & whatever else they’ve been saving for that occasion. Then 4 more years of 0bama. I pray Cain will overcome this but I’m just so jaded at this point I don’t believe he will.

He’s parsing. Its funny because the liberals accepted Clinton’s parsing about his felonies.
But they won’t accept a categorical denial from Herman Cain.
They are the last people on earth to lecture to others about ethics and the truth.
Cain probably put his hand on her shoulder. The boyfriend thought that he and Bialek could turn that gesture into some real cash. Of course calling Gloria Allred is the first thing they thought of.
Hope this isn’t true. If it does happen the next target with baggage is Newt and his waning days as Speaker/Adulterer. Romney will go untouched.
I agree. If he is innocent, he needs to sue her for defamation of character. Let her prove in a court of law that this happened or pay up.

I am not a Cain supporter but this is ridiculous. On the other hand, Cain’s joking about these things doesn’t exactly help.

I think Newt will handle things better. He’s been around it for a long time and has dealt with it in the past. We’ll see.

Its amazing how hard the RinoCracy is trying to arrange a Soviet-Politburo Election....with only “approved” (meaning ones they control) candidates on the ballot. If they worked as hard to clean out the cesspool in DC as they apparently do to keep the Palins and Cains out of town, we’d be in nowhere near the mess we now enjoy.
