To me these pictures look like the product of a scanning electron microscope.

Look at the ‘town’ in the lower left just at the edge of the ‘grid’. It may be a planning stage for planned mining of surface materials lunar or martian. Could also be where the chicoms surface mined materials for massive construction projects. Is this region anywhere near the empty cities or the huge dam project, perhaps close enough for transport via barges?

(Some, believing they can't be deceived, it's nigh impossible to convince them when they're deceived.)

It’s just a prelude to an alien invasion of Earth.
Something to distract us from Obama and his problems.

Al Gore and the EPA will investigate as soon as China approves the necessary visas.

The grid found at your given coordinates is a totally different grid than the earlier pictured one found at
40.457266, 93.392715
interesting.....
To: PuzzledInTX
Look at the big fault in that picture. Apparently the grid was built before the crack appeared. WTF?

If a street grid, it looks like one of a very old city. Look at the grids
HERE and see what I mean.

It looks like a big mud slide through it. See also the old airport between the two grids at
40.477248,93.482666
It, too, appears to have been buried in a mudslide. A newer airport is just east of there.
According to my Chinese assistant, this area is the dwelling of minor ethnic Chinese as opposed to the major Han ethnicity of China. Maybe the minority have something to do with this.

I bet it’s a street grid of the government offices section of some place like Taipei, Seoul, or Tokyo.

The grid most likely a copy cat Chinese HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) as well as a Target Range @ 40.458585° 93.313149°

Makes more sense - why would they bomb their BUSINESS PARTNERS ON WALL STREET...
I bet it's Taipei. Taking out Taiwan seems to be their first goal of territorial expansion after reclaiming Hong Kong.
