While that might be true it would still spoil a racist/race card agenda that the dems plan to run on. It would be hard to call us racists if our candidate is black.

You can thank John McCain and Lindsey Graham for that.
&&&&
We can thank John McCain for so many things - starting with the way he spoiled the opening months of the first GWB administration, because he was carrying a grudge over losing the nomination. He obstructed every initiative of the WH that Spring, and then Jeffords jumped to the dems, and then we were hit on Sept 11, and the media kept saying that Bush had a Republican Congress.
I have so much contempt for McCain, I cannot express it in writing!

Agreed. I went through SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training before going to Vietnam.

I’m sure that what I experienced just ‘horsing around’ with the boys at the pool when I was a teen-ager was pretty close to waterboarding! We played “underwater tag” and some boys thought it fun to splash water into the gaping mouth of someone coming to the surface to take a huge gulp of air.

I’ll bet her net worth is a lot higher than yours or mine.
Serving in Congress has become a road to the Millionaire’s club. Everyone of them should be thrown in jail for bribery. More than anything else, the millionaire who got that way through public, ahem, “service” is a bloated, blood-sucking parasite on the rest of us.
To: Alas Babylon!
Why don’t you tell us how you really feel about those Congresscritters’ snouts snortin’ the public trough. LOL
To: shalom aleichem
Seriously though, isn’t it a shame more people aren’t outraged by this? How can anyone get rich by serving their country?????
A Congressman should be penalized for raking in dough yet all we do is reelect them.
Shame on you is for the first time. Shame on me is for second and subsequent times. We’re long since past the first time.

Interesting that more haven't yet dropped out. By this time in 2007, Gilmore, Brownback, and Tommy Thompson had all withdrawn from the race.
Interesting flash back. Here are a few of the poll results covering mid-November 2007 (
my source doesn't seem to include Rasmussen, unfortunately):

McCain had been stuck in the teens (often the low teens) since summer, and wouldn't break the 20% barrier until
after Iowa.
Also, while these polls were generally all over the place Giulani, a man who would ultimately not place better than third in any state, was dominating the polls less than two months before Iowa and New Hampshire. It was right around the beginning of December that he dropped down to the low 20s, but it wasn't until after Iowa that he no longer consistently finished first in the polls.
While the polls shouldn't be ignored, they certainly are still subject to change at this point as well.

You’re absolutely right! I’ve been screaming this for a long time. Selling votes is bribery and solicting bribe (quid pro qup)!! So we had the Louisiana Purchase and the Nebraska Compromise etc to get Obamacare passed and no one gave a fig. A little outrage, but no prosecutorts warmed up in the bullpen. Harry Reid went into Congress a pauper and now he is a very rich man. Hum...

thanks, for these Sunday ping(s).
seeBSNews blew it. First by dropping the tv broadcast of the debate to web
streaming for the final half-hour. Second by having a pathetic streaming
quality....should have shot Scott Pelley. They didn't blow it, was meant to be (very) badly produced.....
(as a reflection the GOP field of candidates)
You can bet, seeBS wouldn't have had this kind of performance during an 0Bozo "teleprompter performance, as long as Myth's performance wasn't
"Perry-like"...the Establishment Media's stooge won the debate. :(

I also would like to point out that Bill Clinton didn’t even own a house when he entered the Oval Office. If I remember correctly, his net worth was in the hundreds of thousands.
By the time he left office, he was a multi-millionaire. No one batted an eye at that.
And it goes on with almost every Congessman and Senator if they are there more than 10 years. With democrats, they get rich earlier. And let’s not forget about good old Charlie Rangel!

So it is ok for Gloria the man hating harpy to go in front of the Country with absolutely no proof and only a story that is so unbelievable with moves that even Clinton would consider boorish but not for Cain to deny it. Hey, at least she didnt have him clubbing her over the head and dragging her back to his cave by her hair. So Blacks apparently have advanced from the 60s for Mz Allred. This story proves that this feminist is a racist of the highest order. The only thing she was missing were the sheets, hoods and rope. Like they always say Gloria, if the sheet fits, wear it.
This is another high tech lynching by the same group of feminists who have lynched every uppity Black who has made their way to the top without the DNC Plantation. Gloria like her predecessor Margaret Sanger believe Blacks are inferior to elitists like her and need socialism to lift them up to the lowest rung on the ladder and need to be kept there with gummit programs. Blacks like Cain, Rice and Thomas scare her so they have to go back to the Black man cant control his sexual urges and attacks White women every chance he gets. This story which she obviously wrote only proves beyond a shadow of a doubt what she thinks of Black men and their inability to conform to high society.Bray, You are destroying....(absolutely) "destroying / shedding the light of truth", on Establishment arguments against the Conservatives ....
Kudo &/ Dittos to you

Newt really connects with audience and viewers when he sticks it to the press.
I think people dislike the press more than they do lawyers now. :)Yes, (brilliant :) Newt is rising in the polls....
if its true; a paradigm shift is happening.
