Cain’s “problem” is that he’s not a career politician. He tries to answer the question asked rather than twist it into a segue into a canned set-piece. Willard by contrast is a master of the art of segue, Perry - not so much.
His answers sounded repetitive because the only honest, straight answer to the questions asked was “I’d listen to the advice of experts then make a judgement”.
I hope Cain can make it through to the nomination without becoming an empty rhetorician like the pro’s.
Sorry typo:
“posing as...”
I agree with your rating.
Yes! Garrett was respectful of the candidates and avoided asking gotcha questions. The other guy is a steaming turd. Much more of a dictator than a moderator.
I agree that Bachmann didn’t get enough questions or enough time. She didn’t do well in some of the earlier debates, but she was actually pretty good tonight...on those rare occasions when she got a question.
I agree. Perry has that effect!
thx for this. Hope they get replaced with more “lincoln-douglas” style discussions, though
I’m not your cash cow between jobs. Get off your a$$ and make your own change. Do what it takes. Stay mad at Obama if it motivates you. Quit blaming me for your situation and stop acting like a whiny OWS liberal.
Think you're missing a few others -- Ron Paul and Santorum come to mind.
“Pacifism kills.”
Indeed it does, especially in a world gone mad.
BIG difference. but forget trying to tell that to Perry bashers.
Your screen name is so cute.
Wish I had thought of that.
(My name is Katy)
La Raza Rick is where he is because of his pro-ILLEGAL alien record. You can deny that all you want but it remains fact.
Heh! I told the powers that be that I was staying stateside until at least the end of football season. I have season tickets and I've been making do with attending a couple of games a year when I'm home on R & R. I'm having SO MUCH fun seeing the whole season this year.
I'll be heading somewhere, probably back to the Middle East in 2012.
How are you doing these days?
I agree. Compared to most debates..this one was just rude the way it was conducted. But it was CBS so we really should not be surprised.
Nothing was as rude as the CNBC debate. That was embarrassing.
Finally over.
Disappointed by Cain (is he able?)
Surprised by Perry.
As expected from Newt (hole in one every time.)
As expected from Mittie (impressive, well prepared, as always.)
Paul (does he have a last name?) nuttier than ever.
I didn’t find Cain embarrassing at all: I thought all of his answers were fine. But I think the fix is in for Romney. I can’t imagine those two SC senators being for anyone else.
