Bachmann tagteams with Perry!
Offf!! Zow!!
Cain punts and spins again.
I have no clue what is going on in Pakistan.
Except for this blunder where Perry got a pass.
Scott Pelley: Governor Huntsman— as we sit here, there is a crisis in Europe over debt, particularly in Italy and in Greece. And there is the threat of contagion onto Wall Street and U.S. banks. How do you prevent the Euro crisis from becoming a problem in the United States?
Scott Pelley: —is time. Thank you very much. We just have time for a quick follow-up on— on that same question. Let me come to Governor Perry. How do you prevent the European crisis from become a problem on Wall Street?
Rick Perry: Well, the French and the Germans have the economic wherewithal to deal with this. They have the economy.
Seriously? As of Feb 2011 France had an unemployment level of 9.6%. How is their economy going to prevent a problem on Wall Street?
I think the rumors of Perry’s demise have just been put to rest.
I Don’t think Cain did well at all.
He didn’t screw the pooch or anything, but he is starting to look like a BSer.
He fails to take ownership of anything.
Well, he never got to finish his thought did he?
They ended the debate.
Germany certainly is Europe’s economic power house.
France is in the midst of transition from a well-to-do modern economy that has featured extensive government ownership and intervention to one that relies more on market mechanisms. The government has partially or fully privatized many large companies, banks, and insurers, and has ceded stakes in such leading firms as Air France, France Telecom, Renault, and Thales. It maintains a strong presence in some sectors, particularly power, public transport, and defense industries

If Germany is the powerhouse why did he bring up France at all?
I don’t know.
They cut him off.
You can’t stand that he performed well can you?
A high unemployment is not economically sound, whether it is here or in France. PERIOD.
They all performed at their level, I even said so earlier. No one outshone anyone or left footprints on anyone’s forehead. They held their own, including Perry. I know you can’t stand that Cain held his own, but he did. :)
It could be because there has been a concerted effort to smear him and misrepresent him.
And the only reason Perry said that the Az law was not correct for Texas was that he recognized some of the legal issues Az law would face.
For instance, Perry made it illegal to “prevent” law enforcement from asking for peoples legal status.
It is law, in Texas.
Brewer attempted to “mandate” that law enforcement ask for legal status, and that was immediately challenged in court.
Perry also recognized the problem of fencing the border.
How is Brewer ever going to fence the border of the Tohono O’odhan Indian Nation and Mexico?
She can’t do it. The Reservation is a sovereign nation.
Later on most will support whomever wins in Tampa. There is little choice other than that.
If that means we get a rino, and that possibility exists, I encourage you to heap fuel on the huge bonfire that will be lit under his ass for at least four years.
Obviously few of us want to see that outcome. For one, once a person is comfortably ensconced in the White House, we have little leverage over them, except to threaten to deny them a second term.
Of course we could also make their life a living hell with all sorts of negativity, but who wants to even go there? We'd like to avoid all that by choosing someone who's going to just do the right thing to begin with.
However, there's a growing contingent on the right who feel that this election is our last chance to get it right, and that if we don't, it won't matter if the RINO or Obama wins. It's all going to fall apart anyway, so you may as well get prepared for CWII.
Everyone recognizes that the “Heartless” comment was a mistake.
Perry is stronger on border enforcement than anyone.
Look. The man never even got to complete his thought.
How can you criticize that?
They ended the debate mid sentence.
All I got from what Perry was able to say is that, this is Europes problem and he thinks Europe can handle it.
I could extrapolate that he means that we should not bail them out with American money.
Do you think that Perry supporting visas for illegal immigrants to cross back and forth between countries is a mistake as well?
At the end of the day, Perry fell based on his own merits. If it was simply the result of a smear campaign, Cain would be competing with Ron Paul for fourth place instead of Perry, because Cain is facing a much larger smear campaign.
