There is no doubt about it, Newt has a razor sharp intellect.

Bachmann loses me when she starts talking about making cuts to TRICARE. As a military veteran, I know all too well the sacrifices that our brave men and women make serving in our Armed Forces. When those select few decide to go the distance and make it a career in the military, they have every right to expect all Americans to share in the burden of allowing these retirees to have quality health care through TRICARE.

CNBC was rude, but CBS was downright incompetent.

You are right. In reality all the moderators that I can remember have been incompetent, and very full of themselves. They seem to look down on the candidates. No they do look down on them.

Ok, Absolutely Nobama...my PUBLIC reply...lol!

I agree with everyone that Newt debates well. That’s always exciting to see because we envision this great smackdown of Obama. A couple of asides though, one is that he comes across somewhat arrogant and mocking in tone and two, I think that we all need to look at what he’s done in his somewhat checkered political past before jumping off one train and into the next (not saying you specifically, just in general).

I would vote for Gingrich in the general if it came down to that. It’s just that I see a lot of people so enthusiastic about his debating skills that they might want to overlook his history.

Coulter’s out to lunch. I’m not for Gingrich for POTUS, but he’s the only one who seems to get this whole leftist, rigged setup of a farce call the “debates.” Gingrich takes them to task on their stupid questions and false assumptions and it’s pretty much the only bright spot in an otherwise pretty dismal setting.

Someone posted earlier that Newt once said:
“Dont give up too soon”, he studied history and
has a Ph.D

He was like #5 a month ago, but the bright one
always rises to the top on his own time.

She really has changed. What happened? We used to think she was so great. She made two incredibly stupid statements on with Hannity (radio).

One was that thing about Gingrich...she said he was horrible in the debates. Gingrich may be horrible (I don’t think so) but he’s certainly not horrible in debates.

And then her saying, quite seriously, that Perry should drop out and give his campaign funds to Romney.

“Ron Paul was a total loon on foreign policy again.”

You mean in the 30 seconds he got to speak. His answer on torture was great. And Iran has never attacked a country, and certainly wouldn’t attack the United States. They are all bluff. Name me one time in the last 1,500 years Iran has attacked anyone. Even in the Iraq/Iran War it was Iraq who attacked them first. And Iran wants a nuke as insurance they will not be attacked by other countries. What’s good for the rest of the Middle East is good for Iran. Get rid of those nukes and their days are numbered before the bombing starts. See what happened to Gaddafi the minute he agreed to get rid of his nuclear capabilities. His country was completely destroyed and he got a bullet in the head. This is not lost on Iran.

I’m done with the FOX Neocon Channel (FNC). Ever since they buckled on Beck, they lost my interest.

Besides, who needs FOX if you have FR ?

I've been done with Faux News ever since they got too heavy into pushing filth as news, as if they want to be TMZ at times. It doesn't help that the Fox network is promoting the homosexual agenda to high school students with 'Glee'.

Perry was looking good tonight and no freeper should have to worry about being flamed for supporting a good conservative.

I understand your apprehension though. I’ve taken a few bullets myself, but have my vest on tonight.

[O'Leary's] just nuts and unsuited for such a position :)

Which, I suspect, is exactly why she got it...

Ann Coulter’s shameful pimping for the liberal Romney has finally exposed her for the fake and fraud she is. She’s a liberal and always has been. Bout like someone always rantng and raving about homosexuals. 9 out of 10 times they are closet cases themselves. Replace the word homosexual with liberal and you have described Ann Coulter.

All of the sudden she was being taken seriously by the media as a potential contender to Romney, then she dropped like a rock. Some people can't handle it.

Perry-Gingrich 2012 would be my preference at this point.

That would be a great ticket. I realistically think it would be unbeatable.

what einstein scheduled a debate in the south on a college football saturday?

The kind of einstein who just “knows” that no one in America is supposed to hear anything about the GOP. After all the news networks need to tell us what our good political parties are right? /sarc.
