A last-ditch drive ends in disappointment for Penn State, which loses to Nebraska, 17-14. Not having any timeouts crippled the offense, which completed two passes short of a first down, including one with seconds left, but couldn't stop the clock.
This is a different Saturday in State College. Immediately after McGloin's final pass fell incomplete, the Penn State crowd cheered the team's effort: the cheering grew to a roar as the two teams again met a midfield, such as they did right before the game.
Again, as occurred several times during the game, there were chants of "We love JoePa." Interviewed after the game, interim coach Tom Bradley said that what Penn State has gone through over the last week is "unprecedented in the history of college sports."

I agree with you on that point.
Spot on.
People who think that about Penn State students are of course wrong, though.
Just because I'm not joking doesn't mean that it's not ironically, hysterically funny. (And unbelievable, but true.)
I agree with one difference. They should be ashamed of (guilty of) falling for idol worship, if they were idolizing the “successful” man Joe or any other football leaders.
Read several sources. He was even the subject of one of those 20/20 type "this guy clearly didn't die the way the police said" shows. Very close friend of The Bear. But don't ask questions about his death around certain Bama Boosters. It wouldn't be good if you want to stay alive for your health. I am anonymous here, right?
Like the alumni sending funds, here’s another Sandusky supporter in the York Daily Register:
Jerry Sandusky will be found innocent

I have to say I find the accusations against Jerry Sandusky very hard to believe. I have met and know Jerry through The Second Mile. Both of my daughters were a part of the Second Mile program, and it is a great program for kids. I would have never hesitated one minute to allow Jerry to be with my children.
He is being judged in the court of opinions. This man is innocent. I support Jerry 100 percent. I also ask that people please do not judge the Second Mile program. They are a great organization for at-risk children. The adults who run this program are the best counselors available. My children learned so many valuable things by participating in the programs offered.
Again, knowing Jerry Sandusky, I find it very hard to believe that he ever hurt any child that was in his company. Please stop judging him and let our justice system work. I think that when all is out and said and done Jerry will be found innocent of all of this.

Judging by your use of grammar and spelling,I’m sure you have been looked over many times in the job finding process.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, bleed purple and gold, graduate of LSU and rabid tiger fan here. If this systemic criminal pedophile atmosphere were found out there I would rid myself of anything purple and gold. I would demand the university discontinue its football program until every root of this satanic culture was eliminated. If basic morality and freedom from child sexual cruelty and perversion cannot be restored by men’s will then let the money take care of it by cutting off all funding.
:) good pics!
“Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt!”
Spanier’s a sick, sick puppy. I’m looking forward to what Sandusky has to share when he starts negotiating with investigators to keep himself out of general population. This all sounds like something that would be right up Spanier’s alley.
Exod. 34:26 “Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. “Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”
Had any cheeseburgers lately? If so tsk tsk!
Thank you. I wish people would stop doing that on this forum.
Ok, you win. There must be a very minuscule amount of people who support Sandusky. I just haven’t encountered any.
But around Penn State, he has acquired a status similar to that of Hitler or Bin Laden, where he is universally reviled and even joking about him is not acceptable.
I agree with you. I am very disappointed too in the FR response. Sandusky will go to jail. Enablers will be fired. PSU will not be burned to the ground, And (shock) there will still be a football program at PSU.
Using a droid, take short cuts and I have always been self employed. Except when working for uncle sam. At one time I was the youngest real estate broker in the state of Tennessee. Sorry that you have always danced to the other mans tune.
Wow, you just totally convinced me of how wrong I am.
Not that my previous response to you was anything brilliant.
“But around Penn State, he has acquired a status similar to that of Hitler or Bin Laden, where he is universally reviled and even joking about him is not acceptable.”
And when Paterno is accorded the same treatment (along with the comprehensive fumigation - aka firing / jailing - of the staff & the guilty parties will some justice have been done.
