I wish the small business owners and brave residents luck- will the press cover it, will it make a difference ?

Meanwhile, The Gothamist and Cranes NY reports OWS plans to shut down the ringing of the bell on the NYSE on the 17th, fan out through the city, occupy transportation hubs and occupy the subways and give the 1% a party they will never forget. I don’t plan on traveling in to work on the 17th-— NY subways are already overcrowded, no place for silly games

Any other group would be in major violations of NYC zoning laws- public park or private plaza’s there are zoning laws that every single New Yorker has encountered, but these laws are not being enforced in OWS in Zuccoti Park.

Urban Elephants had a great article today on the zoning laws, and the huge pass OWS is receiving.
