The fatal blow to the campaign has been made. Whether he knows it or not, Herman Cain's campaign is over. I would be overjoyed to be wrong, but the numbers and believability of sexual harassment claims against him have amounted to the critical mass of complaints that end the Cain campaign. It is only a matter of time before everyone realizes it.

The Republican elite class wants to nominate Romney by giving credibility to the Democrats’ high tech lynching. Tom Thurlow is the worst kind of guy: the false friend. I would rather have an enemy to my face than a “friend” who smiles at me while he knifes me in the back. Herman Cain deserves better than this trash masquerading as a serious political commentary.
Et tu, Tom? They betray us and tell us their betrayal is for our own good.
Thurlow does not want the American people to decide it for themselves. He wants to decide it for them.
I expected a hit piece but not in a conservative publication.
Now we have conservatives doing the Democrats' work for them.
Congratulations!
Yet another American Drooler hit piece on Cain. Are they in the tank for Romney, like HotAir?
I’ve thought a lot about Sarah Palin and her reasons for not running. One may simply be that she feels she needs more time with her family, especially with the youngest one, the little boy with Down’s Syndrome, who would now be about the age where he would need more attention and companionship than she would be able to give if she were running for President.
But the other thing is that I think she was afraid that she was developing a cult of personality and that the race would become all about her and not about her ideas and principles. I think the behavior of the Cain fanatics shows the dangers of this: they are so devoted to him personally that they don’t care about anything else and they’re irrational and absolutely vicious in their attacks on anyone who raises any questions about him. Palin, because she had been traveling around the country trying to promote her ideas and vision, but without the support of a political party or campaign, attracted a lot of people to herself personally.
But I think she’s an ethical person and didn’t want a cult following; I think she wanted to be a leader in ideas and policies, and not have groupies because of her personal charm or image. I bet she will run for state office from her new home in order to get back into mainstream politics so that she can have an actual policy effect as she did in Alaska. And then maybe, next campaign...
Yes, it is curtains for Cain. And I know that anything he picks will be better than the ones the girlie man chose for the White Hut. I don’t expect to same him sashaying on a footstool either.
I suggest red curtains for the Oval Office . . . denotes power! or blue.
Tom Thurlow would have supported him if he had raped a few women and told them to put “some ice on it.” The more of a rogue you are, the more the world loves you. The world will scorn you for My Sake because they do not know Me and what they do not know, they cannot truly love.
The secret is to be pro-anything that is anti-American. The more you love fags the more the system will love you. The more you love murdering innocent babies in their mother’s wombs the more women will love you. Anything goes in a world that calls evil good, and good evil.
Sorry I just don’t see Cain supporters as being a cult of personality. I will say that we did get very defensive over the shameful smear job that these so called charges of sexually harassment, but to be then I think any true conservative should have been just as repulsed by them even if they didn’t support Cain as the attack wasn’t just against Cain, but against us all.
To standby and say nothing as so many did when it was so obviously that these charges were a put-up job was clearly a case of ‘Good men (and women) standing by and saying nothing’.
Nothing new in the article that i can see.
He still has my vote.
Suggest you go back and review the evidence.
“He had my vote. Had.”
You are welcome to let the media choose your candidate. You’ll find that most people on this site prefer to make their own choices - and we will dump Cain (well, most of us) if we ever think there’s any validity to the charges.
“He had my vote. Had. “
By the way, interesting posting history you have. It’s hard to have credibility when you average one political posting per decade.
Yep
Magic Jack Plus needs no computer..
Good Bye idiot, you sound like the typical sunshine Patriot,or a democrat, take your pick
...this story has the ring of truth to it.
Sure, you can say:
2) and an argument can even be made that Ms. Bialek is trying to make some money off of this matter.
3) And Bialek's proximity to David Axelrod cannot be ignored.
Danny Rathinstaal, is that you back for more misinformation?
So the article was basically, “I’m a Romney supporter and I’m hoping Cain drops out because I hate him.”
You are a Perry supporter. Why are you writing as if you are not?
Let me know when Mr. Thurlow finds a credible witness who saw it actually happen. Until then he should shut up - and for an attorney, he knows none of this is admissible in any court of law - much less than to the court of public opinion.
Yup. He should have told us his bias. If you’re gonna write a hit piece, don’t pretend to be impartial. Thurlow simply, to use his own words, isn’t believable.
