UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Due to multiple threats made against Assistant Coach Mike McQueary, the University has decided it would be in the best interest of all for Assistant Coach McQueary not to be in attendance at Saturday's Nebraska game.
No!! He needs to be there. He really needs to be there.
The game should not take place, period.
Are these people ABSOLUTE MORONS?
What were they sup;posed to do? Keep the old coach after he knew about a pedofile?
Then what would everyone be saying? That Penn State makes light of child abuse charges....
This will be an interesting game.

I wondered how soon this would happen.
He saw the abuse, talked to his DAD who told him he needed to report it. He tells Paterno, who passes it up the line.
Paterno gets fired for NOT calling the COPS, and the guy who actually SAW the attack keeps his job. NO WAY.

I think if any school deserves the NCAA death penalty, it is PSU. I recall some of the penalties schools have faced in the past and they pale in comparison. Free the athletes. No games. No bowls. No recruiting. Let the empty stadium just sit there as a reminder of what happened.

The financial fallout will be extreme. I hope the university can survive but the legacy is forever changed. It is a terrible event for such a proud institution.

Penn State needs its entire athletic department to be bulldozed and then perhaps brought back in slow increments in five years.
I have a feeling we will see at least one suicide come out of this.
