So the complaint is that it did not run 8 hrs (it only ran 5 1/2 hrs). So what are we going to be able to tell in the additonal 1 1/2 hrs that we were not able to tell by running it 5 1/2 hrs. I dont understand the logic here. Is 8 hrs some kind of break point that would eliminate a certain technology? If so, what?

I would also be cautious and skeptical because one of the promoters of the project has already sent a brag letter to Obama and Biden...so that he would likely use this potential development to further his campaign against existing fossil fuels.

It seems like it could be tested by taking a sample from the device before it ran and another sample after it ran and compared their element/isotope ratios. If the elements inside the E-cat have changed then either he has a nuclear reaction or has discovered the lost secrets of alchemy.

Andrea Rossi failed to conclusively show that his device produced excess heat from a nuclear energy source.
***Maybe it’s a chemical thing after all. I’ve been saying that such an outcome would be preferable anyways. No NRC oversight.

I have some questions that maybe the Rossi fans can answer:

• Where is Rossi's factory? Is it still in that 5th floor apartment in Florida?
• Is Rossi still the only person in the world who knows how to make his magic pixie dust catalyst? That might make it difficult to actually build production quantities of E-Cats.
• Is Rossi still putting "self-destruct" devices in his E-Cats?
• In Rossi's old scam legitimate business, he claimed to have a "revolutionary new process" to convert garbage into fuel. He claimed to be running it in production, and had invoices showing him selling fuel to the other companies in his syndicate. What ever happened to that? It would still be enormously valuable, but Rossi dropped it like a hot potato once the authorities started investigating it.
