What he said was twice as shocking as anything that's been released thus far.
"I can give you a rumor and I can give you something I think might happen," Madden told John Dennis and Gerry Callahan. "I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation -- and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can -- that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors. That was being investigated by two prominent columnists even as I speak."
Madden also spoke more definitively to the cover-up efforts at the school and beyond that he expects will be made public soon.
"The other thing I think that may eventually become uncovered, and I talked about this in my original article back in April, is that I think they'll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told that he had to retire in exchange for a cover-up," Madden said. "If you look at the timeline, that makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

Three decades ago Art Sandusky was a conductor on the streetcars of Washington, Pa. and, with his wife, Evie, the owner and operator of a hot dog stand. But when the streetcars were shut down, the Sanduskys found that pushing frozen custard and foot-long red-hots in the summer months wasn’t providing the wherewithal to pay their bills the year round. So they signed up as live-in directors of the Brownson House, a local recreation center that was on the verge of being closed.
After the Sanduskys and their 9-year-old son, Jerry, moved in, they persuaded the town fathers to keep Brownson House going. That was back in 1953, and they have been there ever since.
This goes a long way toward explaining why their son, now the Penn State football team’s defensive coordinator, is, at 38, the founder of The Second Mile, a charitable organization that recently opened a group home for six troubled boys in the State College, Pa. area. The home’s name comes from the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5:41”And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.”

Growing up in Brownson House, Sandusky had observed the same thing about troubled children. “So much of what happens depends on the care and concern that people show for them,” he says. “I saw so many kids come through there who never really had a family or anybody to care about them or give them any guidance at all. It always bothered me.”
Yep....I posted from that article earlier. It sure is telling.....
We had a pedophile scandal involving the coach of a youth sports group. He was convicted of producing child porn besides molesting young boys. I suspect he was also passing along vulnerable kids to wealthier molesters.
It would make sense for a wealthy molester to get someone else take the risk of being the initial seducer of a young boy, and then pass him along to the wealthy pedophile. PSU might have suspected that a trial would have dragged all this out and rocked PSU to its foundations.
Excellent observation!
http://articles.philly.com/2011-07-31/news/29835864_1_investigators-retirement-plans-ray-gricar/2
Gricar was eight months from retirement in April 2005 when he told his longtime girlfriend, Patty Fornicola, that he planned to go shopping for antiques in Lewisburg, 50 miles from their Bellefonte home.
When he did not return that Friday night, Fornicola called police. A day later, they found the Mini parked near the river. Inside was Gricar ‘s cellphone, and nothing else.
Search-and-rescue teams swarmed the site and the river. Fornicola and Lara Gricar held a press conference appealing for help from the public or for his return. Neither happened.
The years since have brought a trickle of head-scratching details, dead-end leads, and, at times, finger-pointing accusations.
Gricar abhorred smoking, but investigators found cigarette ashes on the passenger side of his car. His county-issued laptop, which he did not use regularly, according to Sloane, turned up later in the Susquehanna without its hard drive, a component typically screwed in.
When the hard drive turned up downstream, experts from two labs could not access its content.
Found this info which is disturbing from -
http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7207465/penn-state-nittany-lions-sex-abuse-scandal-jerry-sandusky-was-campus-last-week-reports-say
"Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, who has been indicted on charges of sexually abusing eight boys over 15 years, had access to the team's weight room as recently as last week, according to reports."
SNIP
"A person familiar with Sandusky's relationship with Penn State told The Associated Press that the former coach long maintained an office in the East Area Locker building which is across the street from the Penn State football team's building, and was on campus as recently as week ago working out."
"The university's online directory listed Sandusky, whom Penn State officials said was banned from campus over the weekend -- as an assistant professor emeritus of physical education in the Lasch building. "
As I said in my earlier post, a wealthy pedophile would prefer that somebody else take the risks. He might be willing to pay significant money if somebody were able to take a boy to him for a weekend, feed the boy some "date rape" drug so that the child would not remember what happened, and then return the boy home later.
If they dig, expect some very powerful people to panic.

Interview with Tony Gricar

Show: FOX ON THE RECORD WITH GRETA VAN SUSTEREN
Author: Greta Van Susteren
TONY GRICAR , NEPHEW OF MISSING D.A.: Hi, Greta.
VAN SUSTEREN: Tony, any information? I mean we’ve been out there. We’ve looked around. We’ve followed the pressers (ph). We’ve followed the news accounts. Do you have any new information tonight about your uncle?
GRICAR : No, not anything different than what you’re probably aware of at this point.
VAN SUSTEREN: In terms of the laptop computer that’s missing do you know if that’s a work-related laptop or a personal one?
GRICAR : It is. It’s a work-related laptop that he has available for his use at home. He did have a work laptop as well or I’m sorry a work desktop computer but it was an occasional use laptop from what I gather.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right and that has not been accounted for, is that right? Nobody has found it at home. It wasn’t in the car. And it’s not at work.
GRICAR : That’s correct.
VAN SUSTEREN: Are the police, do they want to see the contents of it? Is there a focus on that laptop?
GRICAR : I think at this point it’s more of, you know, trying to help to get a better picture of the situation. I don’t think, I haven’t heard anything yet at least of the laptop being any key point as far as any files or things like that go.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right. Ray was not a smoker, right?
GRICAR : No, nobody in the family is big fans of smoking and he loves his car and nobody would smoke in the car.
VAN SUSTEREN: So, you would find it bizarre if someone were a passenger and lit up a cigarette that Ray would let that happen in his car?
GRICAR : To me that’s more bizarre than the laptop missing actually.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know how much ashes, could it be some just, you know, traces of ashes tracked into his car by a passenger? Could it have happened weeks before?
GRICAR : It could but, you know, he also takes good care of his car. I know when they did fingerprinting there wasn’t much that turned up. So, he kept a clean car much like everything else related to him.

Interview With Darrel Zaccagni
FOX News Channel - Thursday, April 13, 2006
Show: FOX ON THE RECORD WITH GRETA VAN SUSTEREN
Author: Greta Van Susteren
VAN SUSTEREN: On April 15, 2005, District Attorney Ray Gricar called his girlfriend to say he was taking a drive. His car was found the next day but he has not been seen since. A year later are police any closer to solving this bizarre disappearance?
Joining us on the phone from Pennsylvania is Officer Darrel Zaccagni of the Bellefonte Police Department, welcome sir.
DARREL ZACCAGNI, BELLEFONTE, PENNSYLVANIA POLICE DEPARTMENT (by telephone): Thank you, ma’am, how are you today?
VAN SUSTEREN: Very well. I understand that you were — that some cigarette butts were found outside the car that Ray Gricar was driving on the 15th of April and those are now being sent for DNA testing?
ZACCAGNI: Yes, ma’am.
VAN SUSTEREN: Any reason why a year has gone by for this DNA testing and it hasn’t been done?
ZACCAGNI: No, it was just — it was a lead that we were following up on and we had to explore the situation a little bit more. There’s nothing substantial. There’s nothing to do so it’s — it’s a long shot for us in the fact that hopefully once we get the DNA run if we would come back and find DNA from off those cigarette butts that we could match up to an individual that has had previous contact with Mr. Gricar , it would be a direction to go to start to interview that person and say, OK, what were you doing there with Mr. Gricar ? What was happening?
VAN SUSTEREN: All right, so cigarette butts found outside the passenger side or driver’s side of the car?
ZACCAGNI: I believe we recovered one from each side of the vehicle.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right and when you opened — and when someone opened the car, the car was sealed pretty tightly, the smell of cigarettes inside the car and neither Mr. Gricar nor his girlfriend to whom the car belongs smokes is that right?
ZACCAGNI: Correct. Initially after the car was opened up for the forensic examination there was an odor of tobacco, cigarette smoke within the car but shortly after the door opened it dissipated and then we did recover some very minute amounts of cigarette ash on the floor.
VAN SUSTEREN: You know we only have about 30 seconds left and I don’t mean to, you know, poke this at you but it’s really hard for me to understand why everyone has waited a year for this. I mean this man’s — this is a D.A. He’s been missing. The clues were there, the cigarette smoke. Any thought why anyone didn’t do anything sooner?
ZACCAGNI: Well because we’re still — we’re still handling this investigation as a missing person. There’s nothing to indicate that there’s anything else here but a missing person at this time.
However, if we would discover a body at some point and it would turn out to be some sort of foul play, we’ve at least established some DNA off these cigarettes to go back and talk to somebody. We’ve established DNA for Mr. Gricar for identification purposes. And it’s just another lead that we’re following up on.
If prior boy abuse sex rings with the rich and powerful are any indication, the reporters gathering the info will be isolated and disrespected, the victims will be trashed, harassed and harmed, and there will be no law enforcement action that touches anyone.
There was a Republican named King in Oklahoma who played the central role in a boy child abuse scheme and people who don’t know about it will be surprised how it was squashed even given all the information that came out and all the witnesses.
In that case, the men who were abused as boys had drug problems, were crazy, and were not upstanding men of the community. Their brokenness was used as proff by their abusers that it was all lies... King had the same kind of front operation running - a benefit program for disadvantaged, poor kids.
Yeah, I agree very telling.
The victims have got to be in the hundreds and this spans back years and years.
No way this just started in 1994 or 1977 for that matter.
Gricar had decided to drop this case. I wonder if he may have changed his mind and that is why he has disappeared.
He is either dead or not planning on being found.
I wonder if the truth about what happened to him will come out one of these days?
People who thought PennStatePedo football was more important than the lives of troubled young men being raped and further victimized.
The type of people up in arms at PennStatePedo right now because they think NOTHING that could negatively affect their chances of winning or the “prestige” of the program could possibly be as important as their precious football team.

Vanished DA leaves mystery by the river // Gricar left behind few clues, many theories
Patriot-News, The (Harrisburg, PA) - Monday, April 16, 2007
Author: FORD TURNER, Of The Patriot-News
EXCERPT
Not everyone is convinced the case has been handled appropriately.
The district attorney in neighboring Clinton County, Ted McKnight, said he believes Gricar was the victim of foul play. The case, he said, should have been handled accordingly, meaning it would belong to the district attorney’s office in Union County — the county where Street of Shops is located — and not to the police department in the borough where Gricar lived.
“They aren’t the people who ought to be involved. I have been saying that from day one,” said McKnight, a district attorney for 22 years. “It shouldn’t be the hometown people.”
Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico said he believes the local police and Centre County district attorney’s office had done everything they could.
“To have a colleague basically disappear from the face of this Earth is troubling. ... No resources should go to waste in a case like this,” Marsico said.
Speculation abounds
Patty Fornicola, Gricar ‘s girlfriend, lives in the house she shared with him for more than three years. She said she is still disappointed when she arrives home each day and he is not there.
Fornicola underwent a lie-detector test, administered by the U.S. Secret Service, that established her willingness to do anything to help with the search.
Actually, if it is a homo sex abuse ring built around boys by powerful and connected men, the best Madden could do is make sure the public knows something is up so it will be hard for the elite (news paper editors, etc.) to kill the story and cover up.
Now we expect something to come out - even if it comes out that there is nothing real to report.
To tell you the truth, given other boy abuse operations in the country, the perps will have the power and connections to be able to kill it and harm and smear everyone - the reporters and witnesses.
Bullying is code for stamping out any resistence to homosexual sex and behaviors.
They are grooming boys to be afraid to object and setting up homosexual male dominance over males in our society. This is much bigger than most people realize.
Mass Resistence has public school homos on tape telling kids (ages 13-19)in the gay straight alliances at a regional conference, that it is good to have sex with “experienced” adults for your first time.

Wonder if they were the same brand?
I agree with GVS....why wasnt DNA done on the butts?
My BF and I have been saying from the beginning that this is BIG BIG BIG!!!!! One look at the Grand Jury Report and you know there are just unfreakinbelievablely gargantuan layers of a cover up that has been happening for decades......
I agree with you and your BF. This may make the Duke Lacrosse Frame look like child’s play.
Look who Penn State graduated....

Was thinking....in the GJR...it stated that one kid was driven to buy some weed....then the kid said he smoked it in the car with JS at the wheel. You have to wonder if the perv plied the boys with booze and weed on those overnighters (shades of MJ ‘jesus juice’)
