Tea party leader calls for Cain to drop out
The Daily Caller ^ | 10/10/2011 | CJ Ciaramella

The leader of a tea party group is calling for scandal-embroiled GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain to drop out of the race.

Judson Phillips, the founding leader of Tea Party Nation, said Cain’s flailing response to sexual harassment allegations brought forward by several women was simply unacceptable.

“Herman Cain has got to go,” Judson said in an email to Tea Party Nation members. “I do not believe Cain’s accusers. There are too many questions about them. The allegations are not why Cain should leave. The campaign’s response is why he should now withdraw.”

“So, did you dump this girl that you are dating?”

Regrettably, the process has begun.

He has just now posted a follow up piece. He says we have taken away his “freedoms” by shouting him down on the blogs yesterday....this guy is truly out of touch.

—I listen to Medved. I am amused by the endless parade of Left Coast nutball callers he seems to draw.—

That right there is why I listen. But it is also why I sometimes change the channel.

Dear Judson: The way to have handled this is for you to not vote for Cain and, if you wish, try to persuade others to vote for whoever it is you are supporting.

Calling for a candidate to drop out because of this false meme that he didn’t respond well enough to a media smear campaign is ridiculous and, more importantly, not helpful in the short- or long-term.

Oh, and when you make statements regarding your personal views of the candidates and whom you’re supporting, be sure to make this disclaimer clear. The fact is you are not speaking for anyone but yourself.

That's good. For MANY reasons.

# 1 - Cain IS our best shot. He's fresh, honest and decent with a proven track record in creating new jobs.

# 2 - He's a rock solid Christian and conservative on every issue I have seen

# 3 - He is a Great American. Herman Cain pulled himself out of a blue collar working environment at a time when discrimination against black Americans was real, widespread, unapologetic, and uncompromising. He made it anyway through hard work, courage, trust in himself and God, and dedication. JUST WHAT WE NEED IN AMERICA NOW MORE THAN EVER.

# 4 - Conservative talk show host Mark Levin last night played some TRULY UNEBELIEVABLE Racist screes from recent liberal talk show hosts and news commentators about Cain and the tramps who are trying to smear him. It sounded like racist propaganda out of the 1940’s or earlier. I was astounded. If they succeed in getting idiots like Judson Phillips to denounce Cain, it will prove to minority Americans EXACTLY what they have been led to believe about Republicans and conservatives by the leftist media.

I am more dedicated to Cain's nomination than I have ever been before these attacks. Its critical he be nominated and elected.

And, DESPITE my forum name, I am a lily white Euro-American.

Cain doesn’t need to quit the race until they come up with a legitimate bimbo he got a home run with!

Thanks to Ann Coulter, we know that there is a money trail to follow..
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Coulter is highly selective in which trail she chooses to follow. It depends on whether it leads to her bank account or the latest soiree of the Ivy League elite.

Perhaps if she had followed the dots leading to Donald Young, Obama’s hidden birth records, passport travels, Larry Sinclair, the murdered Lieutenant Quarles Harris, the multiple posted forgeries, the fact that no one remembers Obama on the Columbia campus, the many posted forgeries, the multiple social security numbers......Maybe, just maybe, ...the nation wouldn't be in the mess that it is in, or Cain struggling to upright his campaign.

Ann?....She is a phony!

“There is no “leader”. It’s just “us”.”

And THAT is JUST what makes US so DANGEROUS to THEM.

The men who blew apart the British retreating from Concord could probably have said as much!!!!!!

So Judson believes Herman is innocent, and by inference that the women are lying, but wants Herman to withdraw because he [Judson] doesn’t like the way Herman’s team responds? Way to go, Tea Party!

It would be suspicious if Mr. Cain would have had ready-made slick responses to accusations when he is not guilty of them. For example, most of the candidates, I would hope, don’t have prepared strategies at hand in case they get accused of murder or armed robbery. Such accusations, assumedly, would find them off-balance, searching for the right response.

I just HAD to send another response to you. You have no idea how REALLY MOVING that statement is! It brings tears to my eyes.

I think that a quote similar to that came from the Vikings when asked by some king who their “leader” was !!!!

Hello, I am the leader of the Tea Party Group called Tea Party Continent. I therefore outrank the leader of the Tea Party Nation and I call for his immediate firing as leader of his group. As overlord and Supreme Allied Commander of all Tea Party groups on this continent I will not allow any subordinate Tea Party member to call for Herman Cain to withdraw.

Seriously, are we going to allow the libs pick our candidate again by making false charges against anyone who they perceive as a threat? If so then we may as well give up on the idea of saving this country. No matter who is in the lead they are going to come up with something to destroy them, unless the feel confident that Obama can beat them, like say...Romney. As long as Cain is in the race he will be my candidate, no matter how many unsubstantiated accusations Gloria Allred can dig up.
Also, I am sick of all the armchair quarterbacks complaining that Mr. Cain has not responded the way they think he should. He has denied everything, what more can he do?

“Must be a Michael Medved listener.”

LOL! I love the Medved show at times, but the way he looks down his nose at fly-over country conservatives, like Palin, Cain, Bachmann, makes me sick. He’s Charles Krauthammer with a radio show.

Shades of Kevin Phillips, for so long the Left’s favorite go-to “conservative” conservative-basher. McCain has that role now.

Who put this clown in charge?

This Poser needs to be ejected as any sort of leader.
Self granted leadership does no good for the TP.

It’s extra funny that I lived in Seattle since the mid-60’s, met and talked with him at length at a KVI picnic several years ago and even used to like his show more than Rush. Then he sort of went O’Reilley on us. That is, trying to sound “centrist” at all costs.

And now I’ve MOVED to flyover country. And a main reason was the politics of Seattle. Another was the traffic.

Himself?

There's always one loser who just has to open his mouth and say something stupid. This guy is that loser.
