This is so stupid. How many people have had a thought slip their mind. Yes he was on national stage but this is human. It happens. I am no fan of Perry but I am less of a fan of this unimportant stuff taking up headlines.

Has anyone noticed that Europe is crashing financially. It would be far more important to ask Perry and the rest how they plan to protect the U.S. economy if it does.

There is no shortage of headline material. This was a national debate on the US Presidency and probably the liveliest most on-topic relevant discussion of conservative issues in years. Wheres the beef?

Electing a conservative President might positively impact global economics...ya think?

But at the end of this day, it looks like this gaffe will completely terminate his run for the Republican candidacy, which is sorta important. Republicans need flawlessness and perfection everywhere if they want to ensure we dont have Marx wannabes in charge from 2012 to 2016.

If this were the only time we'd seen Rick Perry's synaptic brain connections fail, it might be forgivable, but it's not. He's slipped in every single debate he's been in. Badly so.

Sorry, but the next president has got to have a razor sharp mind, and the ability to communicate like a real statesman. The stakes are too high to risk the future of the country on a man who is seemingly more lost than Barack Obama.

Perry put the toaster setting on burn with this one. Forever he’ll be known as two out of three Perry and lampooned out of the election by the media and hollywood.

“Mr. President, your plans to adjust spending in the military triad will affect which branches of service?”—my spending cuts will affect the Army, Navy and, uh,...oh what was that other one....uh....oops.

“Mr. President, can you explain what being a Christian means to you?”.....Why yes, I worship the Father, Son and the...uh,..oh,...mmm....what was that other one...uh, darn, oops.
