If I was a parent of a student, i would be there now to bring them hoe for at least a week. The school cannot possibly think it can hold classes at this point. Shut down for a wekk, every one go home. This needs to cool off...and highy charged emotional kids,no matter how smart, will only do something stuid. Parents, get there now and get your chidren away from this.
Forgive all my spelling errors, up way too late.
I agree with you. Close it up for a week and send the kids home. Too nutty and it won’t get any better with a mob mentality taking over.
I respectfully disagree (althoughI understand where you are coming from). This is a disgusting crime and coverup but this sort of thing does happen in our society and life goes on. Those kids should not miss one hour of school IMO. They are there for an education. And based on the support for this coverup coach it doesn’t sound like these kids are traumatized about the crime and victims but worried about some stupid coach.
If those holier-than-thou morons had ANY sense, they’d have let Joe finish the season. I’ll bet that some or all of THEM had heard about the Sandusky perversions on campus as well. Bob
My PSU kid is in the dorm studying for the GRE, and very upset about JoePa firing.
and the hormones are kicking along with that doesn't help. Nor all these OWS protests which have given students a reason to contest just about anything...and many love to come together for any reason at all...it's their nature when away from their homelife.
If my student was at Penn State she would be applying for a transfer to one of the schools she turned down. My daughter would walk away from such a place—forever. These unhappy students don’t understand the difference between a child’s life and football.
