Rick Perry says eliminate 3 agencies, can’t name them

ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) — Republican presidential hopeful Rick Perry says he would eliminate three federal agencies. Just don’t ask him to name them.

The Texas governor on Wednesday night struggled during a debate with his rivals and said he would nix the Commerce and Education departments. He drew a blank when the moderator asked what the third agency would be.

Perry previously has called on the elimination of the Energy Department.

Perry is only saying “oops” for drawing a blank on a favorite subject of criticism on the campaign trail.

He has struggled at previous debates and although he’s committed to four more, his advisers are considering skipping future ones.

It's happened to me, too. I could see it happening to him almost before it happened. All the signs were there.

Were I not so heartless I would feel bad for him.

Maybe he should go back to doing what he's being paid to do. Clear case of the Peter Principle.

He didn't lose my vote over this because he never earned it, but I'm willing to bet this is basically the end of his run, which I don't consider to be a loss to Republicans or the country.

Huntsman didn't make much sense tonight either.

I believe it's pretty much down to Romney, Cain and Newt.

lol! Good one.

It happens. I really don't think it would be that big of a deal were Perry had not been trying so desperately to resurrect his horrific campaign. But he was and it did. Oh well.

If Republicans are foolish enough to nominate [Cain] (and I believe there's a chance of this), then the press will unload on him in a way in manner that will make your head spin.

As opposed to any other nominee, whom they will let slide?

Nonsense. Regardless of who the GOP nominee is, they will be relentlessly attacked and undermined by the lamestream media, all the better to re-elect their beloved Marxist savior.

I would have had Rick’s back, if I felt he had mine, but he called me “heartless.”

Politics are the opiate of an enslaved nation.

That's true. But so is watching football and playing cards and staring at boobs; but, until one becomes serious about their life, that's the way things are.

Huntsman can run on the economy as a governor. The economy is the biggest issue by far this election. Would I vote for him in the primary? No. Unless it’s only him or Romney.

You have no idea who you are talking to

He's not really talking to anyone. Every one of his posts on this thread have been gibberish.

Perry mutsa focus-grouped and rehearsed that line a 1000 times ...........knowing that agency dumps appeal to limited govt conservatives.

That’s what he says-——this is what he does. Perry is the man who created numerous Txas govt agencies that turned out to he slush funds——one of Perry’s donors even got his own agency-—for a price.

Another magic moment——Perry pontificating about elected officials kowtowing to special interests.......Harwood jumped in and mentioned Perry’s serial crony capitalism.

O-o-o-o-o-o-o———that Perry pic is scary.

I’m guessing Perry made a late-night call to Dr Conrad Murray looking for a bottle of propofol to knock him out.

The heartless remark gave him nightmares-—but the agency goof will keep him up for months.

People who conceptualize their own ideas and further develop them into detailed plans don't have trouble remembering details and articulating them. They are passionate when communicating their plans by weaving their ideas into current problems and original ideas to solve those problems, not merely go through a laundry list of things people want to hear for political effect.

People who rely on others to develop their ideas for them in order to gain politically from others ideas have trouble articulating those details since they really aren't genuinely tied to the ideas. They stumble because those ideas aren't flowing from them but being aped through rote memorization for a sound bite.

Perry's glaze out last night gave America it's biggest clue that Perry doesn't have an original thought in his head. He's a fraud.
