Odd. In a fight between Israel and Iran, Christmas is used as a time marker? Really? Christmas?

Well, it’s basically the winter solstice, so it’s among the longest nights of the year. You’d also want little or no moon, so 12/13 or so.

Also, it’s cold so your planes can take off with more fuel and weapons loads.
