No worries. I’ve been following this pretty closely. I have the same states as you. :)

Yeah, I was a bit surprised by Perry’s strength in LA, and Gingrich’s strength in Mississippi. Cain has some weird strengths... Not very often you see a candidate winning in Maine, Hawaii, Texas, and Illinois, but not in Mississippi.

Gingrich? I guess it’s possible

Governor Jindal (just won re-election in a blow-out in LA) endorsed Perry which might explain it.

the weirdest poll i’ve seen recently is the one from today showing Romney leading in South Carolina... I just threw that out, since that can’t possibly be true, it just doens’t jive with a single other poll.

Two things. LA is close enough to Texas for people to think they understand Perry, but, of course, they don’t. Otherwise he’d be in the gutter there too. The other part is when the poll was taken (of course).
