Your consistent bloodthirstiness is commendable, Mr. Civilizations. I really like that about you.

I’m not saying I wouldn’t have called the cops. But I’d have taken care of business first, then called my lawyer, and then called the cops. And no ambulance.

Joe P. joins the ranks of Woody Hayes.

I wouldn't compare the two. I know of no incidents where Paterno assaulted any of his players or opposing players, nor went into uncontrolled fits of rage in public on the sideline in front of thousands of spectators. His public behavior was always gentlemanly.

this SHOW is nothing but a media driven, head hunting, attempt to take down a famous old man for reason beyond his actual control over another person

That was an excellent endorsement of child-rape.

Perhaps you should be a NAMBLA spokesman.

So are we really saying that anyone who finds out about something like this and reports it to their supervisor/administration also has the “moral” responsibility to personally prosecute the case and light the fire when he burns in hell?

You're kidding, right? So I guess good ol' Paterno didn't have a problem working with a guy for so many years that was accused of this kind of stuff. There were certainly workplace rumors.

Fictional conversation:

Paterno: Hey Jerry, I heard that somebody caught you in an act of homosexual child-rape last week. Has that blown over yet?

Sandusky: Yeah, it's cool. Don't worry about it.

Paterno: OK good. You know I had to go to the boss about it, right?

Sandusky: Yes, I know. They're not investigating.

Paterno: That's great. Seems like there have been several witnesses that have claimed to have seen you raping children over the years.

Sandusky: Sorry about that, coach. But nobody can prove anything, and all the investigations seem to just go away, right?

Paterno: Very true. Anyway, enough talk about all this child-rape, seems like these witnesses and rumors have been going on for years when it comes to you and the homosexual rape of a little boy. Let's get back to work. So, what do you think about this defensive play?

Eerie Ray Frank Gricar and Sandusky Connection

Was shocked this a.m. to see that missing person Ray Frank Gricar was the DA who investigated early complaints against disgraced Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky. Mr. Gricar was declared dead officially early this year. His car and laptop were located after his 2005 disappearance, but no trace of his body or evidence of what happened, whether he was killed or committed suicide (his family does not believe this) has been found.

Mr. Gricar was known to be very tough on crime, very ethical and good at his job. The connection between these two well-known cases struck me as eerie and strange.
