As Vatican teaching, no.

” Cry me a river. Why don’t you stand up for what your religious leaders are doing instead of trying to cover up for them?”

I am simply telling the truth. If you are unable to recognize it, that is your problem. Don’t accuse me of having false motives just because you’re apparently clueless.

Nope. Just reading Revelations tells me that the biggest religious organizations will be the enemy in the end times.

Hasn’t the Vatian got enough to worry about without sticking their noses into Government business.

Schools are closing all over the US, they still have some homo Priests, parish’s are closing up, people are leaving, not enopugh priests, Nuns are rebeling, and the Pope is wanting to start a central bank.

This is not the Pope speaking, as many news sources have pretended. And it is not The Vatican, either. It is a small department within the Vatican.

Frankly, I wish they would shut all this crazy stuff down. But it’s really inconsequential.

I’m not. Generally that’s not how the Vatican and popes work.

You never heard or read the bits about “Tithing”, alms for the poor, etc.?

Much of the Christian bible is very socialist, Marx and Engels were not that original.

Congratulations. You just discovered Islam.

You ask that in the Obama era? Aren’t there moral issues in government?

Benjamin Shapiro

First off, this has nothing to do with the Pope, and Shapiro, who is Jewish, and his editors are guilty of a misleading headline.

The Catholic Church does not support communism or socialism, period.

You would think the actions of Pope John Paul II, who was instrumental in bringing down the USSR, would have made that abundantly clear.

Marx and Engels weren't Catholic.

This 'story' is not only old, it has been refuted ... over and over ...

The Pope, Chaplain to OWS? Rubbish

This brief document from the lower echelons of the Roman Curia no more aligns “the Vatican,” the Pope, or the Catholic Church with Occupy Wall Street than does the Nicene Creed.

Vatican Calls For Global ... [NOT] Reuters Lies

Vatican Calls for 'Central World Bank' [No it doesn't] CNBC Lies

This does require reading past the lying headlines to real posts which completely refute this bunk.

I recognize the truth every time it is printed. The Vatican has been trying to regain control since it broke apart from the RC and then again later during the Reformation. Them is just the facts jack. No BS, just good ole plain honest truth.

If the official release was anything other than the Popes view, we would have heard from him already. Get it freddy?

You see religious power & especially theocratical religious power via control over the economy is an evil thing that has consumed the best of men while destroying the best of societies since man was expelled from Eden.

It did not come out of a “Vatican dept.” Educate yourself.

There are a host of “pontifical commissions.” They are filled with academics and some clerics. They have no official status as part of the teaching office. This particular commission is known to be a redoubt of leftists.

It’s like saying that a (fictional) “US Commission on Energy Science and Petroleum Usage” composed of a bunch of professors and industry executives) is the same thing as the Department of Energy.

It’s not.

Yeah, the heretic Luther and his degenerate offspring are so much better.

The muzzies show more respect for the Catholic church than the Protestants.

Please tell us ONE SINGLE POSITIVE THING ACCOMPLISHED by the Protestants.

Other than allowing all kinds of degenerates to go into the JESUS BUSINESS FOR THEMSELVES????

maybe you need to visit the Vatican site a bit more often so you know what you are talking about

PONTIFICAL COUNCIL FOR JUSTICE AND PEACE

ORIGIN

The Second Vatican Council had proposed the creation of a body of the universal Church whose role would be “to stimulate the Catholic Community to foster progress in needy regions and social justice on the international scene” (Gaudium et Spes, No. 90). It was in reply to this request that Pope Paul VI established the Pontifical Commission “Justitia et Pax” by a Motu Proprio dated 6 January 1967 (Catholicam Christi Ecclesiam).
Two months later, in Populorum Progressio, Paul VI succinctly stated of the new body that “its name, which is also its programme, is Justice and Peace” (No. 5). Gaudium et Spes and this Encyclical, which “in a certain way... applies the teaching of the Council” (Sollicitudo Rei Socialis, No. 6), were the founding texts and points of reference for this new body.
After a ten-year experimental period, Paul VI gave the Commission its definitive status with the Motu Proprio Justitiam et Pacem of 10 December 1976. When the Apostolic Constitution Pastor Bonus of 28 June 1988 reorganized the Roman Curia, Pope John Paul II changed its name from Commission to Pontifical Council and reconfirmed the general lines of its work.

The Obama Government isn’t worried about moral issues, They are busy in their anti-Christian agenda.
