settlement and agreement...kind of reminds me of Slick Willy saying he ‘did not have sex with that woman’ and later saying he did not consider oral sex , ‘sex’...Semantics in my opinion. There was a legal ‘agreement’ whereby the NRA paid cash and Herman did not have to admit guilt.
Cain worked for the NRA for three years and there were two ‘settlements’. That troubles me. As a manager of over 25 years overseeing 100’s of employees in the workplace, I can say I have never had ONE complaint against me of sexual harassment.
We think alike....My thought was: Tell me how many other complaints were filed against any of the big boys at the NRA in any ten year period...that resulted in both a payoff AND a confidentiality agreement.
You must be very exceptional. Nuisance lawsuits are a fact of life. And two lawsuits in 20 years is pretty good for an organization with thousands of employees. Its just standard practice to settle them.
