My first thought was the same, that republican rivals doing this. But then the democrats were shocked to see Cain poll numbers rising, he was way beyond flavor of the week, they had to try to snuff him off before he got too far ahead.

The democrats are scared $hitless of Cain because of the simple fact that if their monopoly on the blacks gets in trouble, the Kenyan socialist is toast.

My guess is, he'd call up the little boy he was having a Coach Sandusky moment with and ask him...

I play in a softball league and one game my teammate brought his wife. We met and chatted and after the game she was part of our group that all went out for beers and food together in the same car talking and laughing. A month later she came to another game and I didn't even recognize her - face, name, nothing.

So it is easy for me to believe Cain, who meets probably hundreds of people every day, doesn't remember some woman walking up to him and hugging and saying a few words after a speech.

Gingrinch looked like the frumpy, but lovable old college professor and Cain looked like the formidable, even somewhat scary CEO in his big chair!

I thought, man, he's not the CEO you want to be called in front of to have to explain yourself over something. Measured, but firm. And very sure of his principles.
