Fifth woman raises questions about Cain's behavior
Washington Examiner ^ | 11/7/2011 | Susan Ferrechio

Posted on 11/07/2011 10:10:55 PM PST by Qbert

A former employee of the United States Agency for International Development says Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain asked her to help arrange a dinner date for him with a female audience member following a speech he delivered nine years ago.

Donna Donella, 40, of Arlington, said the USAID paid Cain to deliver a speech to businessmen and women in Egypt in 2002, during which an Egyptian businesswoman in her 30s asked Cain a question.

"And after the seminar was over," Donella told The Washington Examiner, "Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, 'Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?'"

Donella, who no longer works for USAID, said they were suspicious of Cain's motives and declined to set up the date. Cain responded, "Then you and I can have dinner." That's when two female colleagues intervened and suggested they all go to dinner together, Donella said.

Cain exhibited no inappropriate sexual behavior during the dinner, though he did order two $400 bottles of wine and stuck the women with the bill, she said.

The next time the women heard from Cain was Christmas, when he sent them his gospel CD.

Donella said she felt it was important to describe her encounter with Cain after hearing more serious allegations of sexual harassment brought by other women.

"I couldn't swear that he had some untoward intentions, but we all thought his tone was suspect and we didn't feel comfortable putting him in touch with that woman," Donella recalled.

"I think [Cain] should not be a serious candidate for the presidential nomination because of what I've seen," said Donella, an independent who said she voted for President Obama in 2008 and probably will again next year. "He's not a person I would want running the country."

Cain's campaign did not immediately respond to inquiries from The Examiner.

He said nothing inappropriate during dinner and called a woman, ‘a lovely young woman’.

That’s it, his denial is proof of his guilt. He shoulw be drawn and quartered at dawn!

The Establishment plan is to bring out a new woman everyday until something sticks.

Total B.S. and every object person knows it.

I suspect all this is just making Cain look stronger.

Today, a 6th woman came forward to tell Politico that she felt uncomfortable knowing that if she had gone to see Herman Cain speak he may have made advances toward her.

Genetic liberal racism. They felt threatened cuz he's black.

That's the real story.

....and is charming, articulate and powerful. M’thinks it was the gal's own ‘shameful’, libidinous reactions to a black man that set them to this projection. His fault. What's an attractive, testosteronie guy to do?

The babes feel much more comfortable with the sensitive, effete, estrogen-rich bearing of our present prime-minister.

USAID is packed with Obama adherents. This one will probably get a new job in a nice place for her loyalty.

The babes.....

the paranoid, liberal-minded, brain-washed, women's studies NOW babes with harassment radar on ‘stune’....

feel much more comfortable with the sensitive, effete, estrogen-rich bearing of our present prime-minister.

Rational, conservative, self-assured sexually-disciplined babes see the world for what it is.

It shows how they cannot win any argument any more on simple argumentative (debate) bases, on the facts. They can only sling mud and personally attack, and take it to the gutter to a "sex" level. That pathetically is all they have left in 2012, the liberals. That, and mass suicide (when they experience a defeat of historical proportions). It really, truly is a mental sickness, liberalism.

“It really, truly is a mental sickness, liberalism.”

Yup, but I think you may describe the motivation of the media, in taking these descriptions of encounters with Cain to the political front, as ammunition.

I believe these women could be genuine in their descriptions of the events, but that their feelings of threat are the result of the sexual roilings of their own dark, twisted hearts and childlike minds. And, then, there is the attention they get...drunk like sweet water, these fifteen minutes that are theirs....that lends energy to their delusions.

A cyclotronic, emotional hurri-cain.

"Look at ME!"

Kinda ofa mental illness.

And, anyway:

I used to have Cain's home on my trash pickup route. Every morning he's come out in his bathrobe....a-scratchin’ his junk....and lookin’ at my bum.

He's definitely gay. I felt wicked threatened. But that's acceptable behavior. The Post wouldn't give me a nickel for the story.

Guess it didn't fit the template they're assembling, either.

This is NOT sexual harrassment. I’ve gone out on dates and I’ve never said anything inappropriate or made any obscene gestures.

The Left is making itself look ridiculous with stories like these. They haven’t been able to come up with ONE verifiable incident that even resembles actual sexual harrassment.

They’re setting the bar very low and are doing a complete disservice to actual victims of sexual harrassment. Moreover, a guy who has an on-going problem with women, it starts early in life.

And we have only one woman in 20 years allege inappropriate contact. That’s really remarkable. She can remember what he supposedly did but can’t remember what day it happened? Most people can’t remember what they had for breakfast 20 years ago.

So if this is all the Left has, its nothing. This is a manufactured scandal.

>>> I call her Buy-A-Lick lol

If you must. But such lame nastiness only underlines the question of Cain’s association with her in the first place. And that defends Cain?

How much did he offer to Buy-A-Lick. So he’s Pay for a lick? That sort of thing.

All you’re doing is digging the hole deeper.

Not smart. But not surprising either.

This reminds of the story of the leprechaun’s gold. A story is told of the man who compelled a leprechaun to take him to the very bush where the gold was buried. The man tied a red handkerchief to the bush in order to recognize the spot again and ran home for spade. He was gone only three minutes, but when he returned to dig, there was a red handkerchief on every bush in the field.
